I have about seven Olfa knives, and use at least one of them several times every day. Yet I rarely replace blades because I use these and they just seem indestructible – pretty amazing TBH. Olfa makes the best knives *and* the best blades, period. FWIW, I also have an expensive, hand-made Mokume Gane (meaning "wood-grain metal) knife that uses a high-grade metal – a fantastic knife, hand–forged over an anvil. But it needs to be sharpened by hand, so I don't reach for that nearly as often as I do an Olfa knife.

This is pricier than other snap off blades in Amazon, but it is definitely worth to buy. Great presentation box and the blade itself is top notch. super sharp and sturdy

I found an Olfa knife and needed some blades. They are very sharp!

I have yet to decide if I can tell much of a difference with these extra sharp blades vs the normal ones. They seem to be well made though and they are certainly not less sharp. The blade seems durable as well and I am overall happy with the purchase. I would buy again if using these to make some sort of finished product. If you are only opening boxes and such, then just buy the regular blades if they are cheaper.

If you haven't spent $7.00 to buy an Olfa 9mm Slide Lock Utility Knife, you don't know what a wonderful and inexpensive cutting tool it is. Since we get so many packages from Amazon (it's like having Christmas every day) and we have a recycling program, I have to break down a lot of cardboard boxes. I had been using the classic razor knives but was never satisfied with their ergonomics or ease of use. So I "invested" $7.00 in this Olfa to see what all the rave reviews were about. There are two choices on replacement blades from Olfa, the regular stainless ones and this package of Ultra Sharp Black Blades. I chose the black blades since they are about 25% sharper and come in a cost effective package of 10 blades. The only problem I have ever had with any Olfa product is that my kids tend to walk off with them. Oh well, another Christmas package coming up!

It was spinning end over end and just grazed my leg right before it hit the floor so I could barely feel it. I had an inch long slice that started to bleed after a few seconds. I couldn't believe it. I mean, it barely touched me and it was deep enough to make me bleed. I have used them to cut through cardboard and plastic and all manner of other materials and nothing seems to slow these blades down. They are GREAT - but be careful!

This has a very very sharp edge. Good for any heavy duty cutting.

These are now a workshop staple here along with the 9mm and 25mm wheel-lock knives. Scary sharp, just enough flexibility to carve styrofoam, flexfoam and plastic prop materials beautifully, rigid enough to slice through soft materials with minimal force. Leather, soft plastic, foam, any gauge of paperboard... doesn't matter. Cuts it cleanly. Mind your fingers, my last accident with one of these needed six stitches and I didn't feel the cut! My only annoyance is that I can't get these in 100-count packs.

Not much to say other than these really are sharper than typical blades and hold their edge well. I've used them in a number of super cheap non-Olfa knives and they've worked well in all.
