By far the best face "suncream" I have used
This is the only face sun cream I've ever used that isn't oily at all and that is despite the fact that it has extremely good UVA protection. There is no white cast, no yellow cast, no shine, nothing. You can't even tell it is on. I'm male so I would prefer it didn't smell of anything but at least it doesn't smell like sun cream whatsoever. It is so non greasy you can even use it in your hair on your crown to stop sun damage on your scalp. I don't understand why it is so vastly better than every other product I have used but it is.

Dry touch finish with high UVA protection!
This is the only UVMune product that is outside of the La Roche Posay sunscreen line and since I want to fade some hyperpigmentation, I really wanted to try this one out for the cooler months. The positives first:1) It has UVMune, which is a sunscreen filter that tackles the extra-long UVA rays that no other sunscreens currently cover, except of course, for the La Roche Posay UVMune sunscreens.2) There is no yellow coloring to tinge the skin. I have this complaint for the La Roche Posay UVMune sunscreens. They are just not very aesthetically pleasing to wear when they make my olive skin look jaundiced. This sunscreen, on the other hand, is pink. It seems to work out well on my olive skin without any added coloring to my face.3) This applies creamy but becomes dry to the touch shortly after. I LOVE this because my hair does not end up sticking to the sunscreen.4) I freckly very easily. Although I have not had any fading of my freckles, I can report that I have not gotten any new ones while using this product. Here is what I am not a fan of:1) I am used to American and Asian sunscreen scents. I realize that European sunscreens by L'Oreal veer towards highly perfumed. I'm not a fan of any scent at all, so the strong scent in this one is unpleasant and somehow reminds me of grandmothers. However, the smell dissipates over time (THANK GOODNESS!)2) The thickness of the cream makes it very hard to spread easily on the face. This also forces me to use more of the product because each swipe of the finger covers only a small surface area on the face. I'm thinking the lack of emollience contributes to the dry touch aspect of it, so that is your trade-off.I'm neutral on the following:1) Because the cream lacks emollience, you MUST apply a serum or light moisturizer underneath. I don't see how you can avoid that prep, unless your face is oily, even your cheeks. I have combo skin and my cheeks would shrivel up and die if I only used this sunscreen without a serum or moisturizer.2) I feel a slight tingle when I apply this on the face. Is it the niacinamide? Regardless, my face is ok with it and I have experienced no irritation.Overall, despite the few negatives, I am happy to have a sunscreen that offers superior protection with UVMune but without the yellow cast. Hopefully, L'Oreal will come out with other UVMune products like this one but in a lightweight fluid for the summer. (As an alternative to the Posay ones that apply yellow!)

Reduced dark spots and hydrating
Has reduced dark spots dramatically after using for about 6 months , really impressed with the results . It’s also a great moisturiser , wrinkle cream too , I don’t think I’ll ever be without it .

Stints your eyes because of the scent
Nice cream rubs in easily bit more perfume than other l'oréal creams I've had before. Think I'd go back to l'oréal Bright reveal because of the perfume in this Revilalift filler which is also SPF 50

Good protection thick cream
I’ve found it hard to get a day cream that’s factor 50. This one does the job but it is a little thick. My face is quite dry so I need a good moisturiser before applying foundation so I wouldn’t buy this again for that reason. If that doesn’t worry you it’s fine and provides protection.
