I saw a review that said it didn't fit, i bought it any2ay as i couldn't find one that was for the LR specifically.I am happy to say that I did because it does fit!

Obviously, this is Ubiquiti's OEM mounting bracket for their latest generation of access points. I ordered this to use with my UniFi AC 6 Pro and it works just fine. It also should work for the UniFi UAP-AC-PRO and UniFi 7 access points as well.

I probably bought the wrong mounting kit. I have a few UAP-AC-Lite access points that I wanted to mount on a drop ceiling, and I thought this was right kit. Well, turns out this kit is for UAP-AC-PRO, UAP-AC-HD, or UAP-AC-SHD. I probably didn't read the description correctly.However, the T-Bar mounts that come in this are sized correctly and will fit the plastic mount that comes with the UAP-AC-Lite. The plastic mount has to be screwed in so the locking tab engages with the access point lock. I don't want the lock so I just trimmed the tab off.Again, I probably bought the wrong mounting kit for the UAP-AC-Lite for mounting to a drop ceiling, but it comes with pieces that work.

Fantastic piece of hardware! Super impressive manufacturing & design thought put into this. Seriously, stealth minds came together to design this & consider near ALL installation mounting possibilities. While ALSO labeling it so perfectly, that it's mindlessly simple & no issue to figure out. Works brilliantly & easily with the Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC Pro (UAP-AC-PRO) that it is intended for. HOWEVER, this should have come with this access point. Even if Ubiquiti has to charge more for everything considering, fine, bury it into the price charged for the overall unit. Bypassing the consumer an unexpected headache step of having to make a secondary surprise order. Granted Ubiquiti is predominantly a commercial company, so most of their mounting hardware focuses on drop ceiling mountings. Reverentially though, this bracket that I had to make a separate order for, is so much more common of a mounting plate. In home settings , 90% of the time, consumers are going tb be mounting to some form of standard line/low voltage box.Zero complaints all around though. Ubiqiuti makes amazing products, & this mounting bracket is honestly impressive in it's design. Ubiquiti, just throw it in with the access point purchase, charge us all $10 more to cover it, & then all bases are covered.Thanks!

I replaced a nano AP so needed this one. Had to put different screw holes in the ceiling but at least they are covered by this one. Worked as needed

Some of the reviews and one response to a buyer question states that this mounting bracket works with UAP-AC-LR. Having received the bracket today I can categorically state that it DOES NOT WORK with the long range access point UAP-AC-LR. It is way too big.I have to give it a rating so I'm giving it 5 stars even though I do not know how well it works with an access point that does fit.

This is a universal bracket for everything, not sure why it is not included with the AP. If they replaced the included plastic with this one [plastic or metal] it would be a huge improvement and lead to a faster, smoother install. The removal of the AP is much more difficult with this bracket design and does require a different tool due to the design change, no more will people be able to easily remove the AP, service or theft.This bracket is made out of metal and each hole individually labeled so you know which hole to use for the situation.Pros:Works for everything you would be mounting the AP on [except a pole]Study metal design, no plastic to break.No modifications needed for your installNeutral:Release design requires some effort to remove an AP, significantly more the standard bracket, possibly by design.Cons:Not standard with the AP and have to buy separately.
