.The most AMAZING book I have read. Immensely useful to every citizen worldwide. There is essential advice for all conceivable disasters: weather disasters, terrorists actions, avoiding animal attacks and more. Also, how to enjoy the outdoors, (camping) and make the best of everything there. It's a life saver on outdoor survival. There's much on sensibility and security and things you definitely need to know - it's ALL here. Every single page has something useful and interesting. I have read the entire book, all 672 pages. It is very strongly well-bound together, too. You will not be disappointed with this read.

Life's needed my attention since I bought it in a different kind of survival of the modern world (!) so not actually had time to read it yet, but flicked through and looked good and looking forward to reading it. Quick delivery and no complaints.

This book comes in well written, easy to follow format that appeals to readers of a varied cross section. It could be used as an adventurers Bible or an interesting book for dad on father's day. It covers everything from what vegetation to survive on right up to how to survive an urban terrorist attack. Overall a very enjoyable, informative read that I would highly recommend.

This is the real deal. I used this as a young soldier on our escape and evasion training while we choose the best cut of the animal. Lofty originally made it to give to the Regiment for free.. only to be told to publish it and the Regiment will use it as their training manual. Which they did and do! Another book to pass down to a future son or daughter!

Excellent book, filled with various useful survival skills, techniques and information. I first recieved this book as a present when 12 years old, and it was on of my all time favourite presents. Now I was happy to buy this book as a present for someone else knowing it would provide hours of interesting reading.
