3M Secure Fit 400 Series Protective Eyewear, Standard, Black/Green

These are exceptionally comfortable feather-light plastic sheet glasses that have no hinges and self-adjust to fit. They have soft plastic trim at the brow and nose that really feel great! I haven't done any physical testing on them, but I have a lot of confidence in 3M to protect very well against liquid spray or paint drips (they are molded to curve close to your face.) I bought these because I needed to use a Dremel tool to grind and wire-brush some close-up work. I'm confident they ùcan handle flying shards and broken grinding wheel pieces. Flying hockey pucks, not so much I don't know about COVID protection, as these have a lot of open vent space on the side shields for fogging protection (having survived several face-sprayings in the past, I'm sure these will protect against even forceful direct liquid spray), but the churning cloud of atomized nose juice from a human snèeze? I'd stick some tape over the vents and live with the fogging. PLEASE do not do any work that might toss anything worse than a cream pie in your face without wearing safely glasses.

I’ve been working in a factory setting for many many years. I have tried, I don’t even know how many safety glasses, over the years. They are either too heavy (I’m wearing them for 10+ hours so it adds up) or they slide off my face from sweat or oils. Some are just plain uncomfortable. Not these!! I actually discovered these by accident at an Ace Hardware and have been loyal to these ever since. They don’t pinch my head behind my ears, they don’t slide off, and you forget they are there, they are so light. If you have to wear safety glasses for long amounts of time, I highly recommend these. For the price, they are worth every penny.

bought these because they were a well known brand and they looked like the wrap around type of safety glasses I was looking for. They are very lightweight but overall feel sturdy. Even though i have a kind of small face, they stay put and don't fall off. Decent level of protection around my entire eye area, with a bit of fresh air coming through. They are NOT air tight; maybe if I press them like super hard against my eyes they will be but that's not comfortable or feasible. I find the rubber nose portion a little big, especially because I mean to wear these over a face mask. Looks like you can pull off the rubber nose grip but it'll look and/or feel weird on my nose. Hard time wearing the nose portion over a home made fabric face mask (one that's not super thick, either). They also fog up a bit, despite my face mask being super air tight at the bridge of my nose and cheeks. If you have a decent goggles/glasses cleaner you may not have this problem; you have to be super thorough in keeping these clean to keep them from fogging up.

I've tried different types of safety glasses and these are my favorite. I'm very rough on my things and basically a clutz. I also lose everything. So the low price, comfort and durability are why these are my go-to safety glasses. These glasses can actually withstand a lot more abuse despite the smaller, fragile-looking profile. They appear flimsy. I'm not gonna lie But they're not. I put them thru the wringer and they continue to beat the other brands I've tried. I think these offer gpod protection because they fit very close to the head/eyes and conform well to different head sizes. I notice many goggles leave space on the bottom and sides, esp if they are too big. The good thing with these is they have some sort of spring (not sure what to call the mechanism) that allows the sides to bend outward if needed for better fit or if by accident. I've had the sides pop off when doing something rough with them and they just pops back into place. I should also mention that sometimes the rubber nose piece comes out when I'm throwing these in my quad compartment or jamming them in my pocket. However, they also pop right back into place. When I first tried these, between the nose bridge or arms being able to pop off, i can't tell you how many times I thought, "oh well. They broke already...just like the others," only to realize they aren't actually broken. Woo hoo! Scratch resistance hasn't been any better or worse than others. I don't notice scratches...except for the time I ran over a pair with a garden cart. Not broken, just scratched up. Lol. And the fog-free feature is always difficult with safety glasses... basically any kind i've tried. Yes they will fog under the right conditions, but not more than others. I haven't really noticed this as an issue. One disclaimer - These aren't heavy duty, for very dangerous activities. For example, if I'm hacking at rock, I like to wear goggles that strap to my head so no pieces of rock have space to get in. Common sense. For basic DIY work, these are perfect. Bottom line - i will lose these glasses before I break them. And the price is low enough that when I do lose them (and I will), I don't feel so bad buying another pair. They are very comfortable and I feel protected wearing them. The end.

Honestly the best pair of safety glasses ive owned. I buy 4 or so at a time so i always have a fresh pair on the shelf. Works great with hearing protection as the over the ear parts are thin and super flexible. They do not bite into your ears and fit really comfy on the nose. Ill wear these at work or at the range for 5-6 hours straight and they are still comfy. They are incredibly clear regardless of where you are looking. Theres is no distortion at all when looking through the lens. You can get black, clear or yellow tinted lenses as well. Theyll eventually get scratches but thats more from me throwing them on the work bench. Every time they end up worn and i throw em out its just from light scratches and not from any kind of crack or failure. I just really like a clear lens and change em when they start to get worn. Just buy em. You'll be happy.

I have to wear safety glasses for work in a quite hot environment. I bought these looking for a wider field of view, light weight and comfort. These hit all 3 compared to the multiple other types I've tried.

There is a lot of lightness, but it is a lie There are no scratches and the strength is also a little less And the glasses that were provided to me were damaged and there were scratches on the top but I am happy for one thing because Amazon refunded all my Rs. 500 in full.
