Acoustic/Thermal Van Insulation SM600L (20' x 60")

I am converting a ford transit to a campervan and I chose to use thisulate to insulate my van. I just finished insulating and this product is SO easy to work with! I just measured each of the spaces and cut with scissors then use spray adhesive to make it stay. It is truly that easy. A few callouts: - This stuff will stick to cotton and clothing like crazy so opt for tougher clothing material when using like jeans. I wore sweatpants the first time I handled and it was brutal to get out of the fibers of my clothing. - Your scissors may be a bit dull by the end. I started the project using very old scissors and they just weren't doing the trick. I got new scissors and it was easy as day. This is also a GREAT product to use under walls and ceilings because it is relatively thin and consistently shaped. A friend of mine used loose wool and they really struggled to put a ceiling up because of how inconsistent the insulation was. Overall, I am super happy with this product and very highly recommend!

I installed this as thermal insulation for the walls and ceiling of a campervan. The build isn't finished yet but it made a noticeable and immediate difference. It's easily cut to size (get a good pair of scissors) and 3M adhesive makes quick work of it, even on the ceiling. I did most of the layout with a metal straightedge and a sharpie marker. Buy more than you think you need - I ended up placing a second order.

This is good sound-deadening material, and it has some insulation value. But you have to stuff it into every nook and cranny of your van interior if you want the best results. Sometimes you have to stuff it in several layers. Don't be stingy with it.

Yea pricy but great stuff!!!!

I put this stuff all over the inside of my van before I insulated the 3M Thinsulate. Now my van is quite and well insulated. Good stuff.

Sound and temp insulation. Works great!

Cheapest option I could find to insulate my camper van. Product is as described and I can feel the difference the insulation provides. Used 3m90 spray adhesive and seemed to do the trick
