I brought the 10kg weighted vest thinking I could reduce the weight to 5kg to start with then work up to the 10kg. How wrong was I. Im 5”7 and 64.2kg thats 10.1 stone, I work out quite a bit, but the 10kg vest is a killer to start with. I can wear it for about half an hour on the treadmill at a fast pace but it in tight enough around the waist to be able to run with out it hitting my back and sides. I havent used it on the rowing machine yet. I think I would need to work up to that. My advice would be to get the 5kg first then invest in the 10kg if needed. overall it’s a good vest but wish you could reduce and increase the weights accordingly.
