Notebook 200 pages

They take a long time to ship to the US. I waited from Dec 31st to Feb 8th. I guess this is because it comes from Sri Lanka. They posted the sender's address and recipient's address as mine, so the postman thought it was very funny that I was shipping a registered package to myself that I had to sign. The Package did come from Sri Lanka.The package is incredibly fresh. The sides of the sticks are easy to push in with your fingers. Be sure to put them in a seal-able bag when you get them or they seem to dry and harden pretty quickly.This is the first time that I have had Ceylon. The way that I described it on my first stick was kind of like eating grass with a tiny bit of cinnamon flavor. If you take a decent sized bite out of it, you will get a good taste of cinnamon, but not like Cassia where it is like you just ate Hot Tamales Fierce cinnamon candy. Maybe the Ceylon is like a weak Big Red Chewing gum mixed with half a small leaf or 2 blades of grass.On my first stick, I didn't like it, but knew for over $20/pound that I would be using every each and last stick. However, as I have gone through about 10 sticks n the last 2 weeks, the flavor is kind of growing on me. I cannot tell you the quality of the cinnamon, since I have never had Ceylon from anywhere else to compare it to. I cannot compare the cinnamon quality of Ceylon to Cassia, because they are like comparing a Golden Crisp apple to a Granny Smith apple. They are both apples, but taste completely different with a slight hint of similarity.Also, I like that Ceylon is not as bad for your liver as Cassia since I am checking on these sticks frequently to help avoid biting my nails and the hopes to help keep my blood sugar levels in better control.If you are looking for the taste that most Americans are used to, go with the Cassia, but don't buy it in the store at $5 per bottle of about 6-2 inch sticks.If you will be going through a lot of sticks and worry about your liver, try the Ceylon.

Didn't smell or taste like cinnamon. Mostly tasteless.

It did take a while to ship, but they come straight from Sri Lanka, so it is expected.I use many cinnamon sticks over the year. One of my favorite uses is to add water to almost the top of a small sauce pan, add 3 sticks of cinnamon , sliced lemons, all spice and just let it go for a low boil and a few minutes later an amazing aroma spreads over your house. Far better than candles.Yes I would buy them again, but OMG, they come like 100 sticks in the package, so it will be awhile.This is FAR better than you get in the grocery store, buy the real thing and you will never go back

It took a while for my cinnamon sticks to arrive, but I expected that. So far, I am pleased with them. They don't have as strong a taste as the ones from the store. I think they will last me a long time. I have heard that you can use them more than once, but I haven't tried that yet. I was happy to find real cinnamon sticks, instead of the kind you find at the grocery store.

When I opened the package, I couldn't help but smell chemical odor from the Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks. No Cinnamon fragrance from these sticks. I've been air venting these cinnamon sticks for the last 3 weeks but it still reeks chemical odor...So, I finally contacted the seller to return the item.FYI, I didn't even try using any of the cinnamon sticks.

I love these cinnamon sticks. I often use it for savory dishes as well as baked sweets. But this cinnamon is especially delicious as a tea, it has a very distinct taste of a more exotic cinnamon tea. It is naturally sweet and has many beneficial health benefits. I have put it to boil in a quart or half gallon of water with about 4 or 5 sticks then refrigerate it and it's so refreshing. Hot or cold its a treat.I just love this cinnamon. I highly recommend it.

Quite good quality, but not Alba quality. Better than many samples I have bought in UK SATISFIED., But where can I buy guaranteed Alba ?Well packed item.

I hate to say it, but I don't like it. Even after waiting so long for delivery, as this comes from across the world, it was not worth the wait.I break these sticks up to flavor my morning pot of coffee, but it does absolutely nothing that I thought it would.I don't think I will be getting these again...
