A networking must when working with Dell Networking
A much needed device to initially config Dell PowerConnect switches. At a price no one can beat, and available rather quickly at that.

Works great with Android
I used this on an ASRock N100DC-ITX motherboard. It identifies as a FTDI device and works perfectly with Android.

It keeps timing out.
I plugged this cable into a Win 11 computer. I installed drivers from the FTDI site as per instructions. Device manager recognized the cable. When trying to use the radio programming software I kept getting a "time out" message. Baud rates in the radio/software/device manager were all set the same. I tried different baud rates but no luck. I even shut off the time out time but still no luck. I even tried this cable on a Win 10 machine. No luck there either. My RT Systems cable cable works flawlessly so I know it is not something in the setting.

Highly Useful!
This adapter was just what I needed to connect my legacy equipment to my modern laptop. It worked flawlessly right out of the box – plug and play at its best. Seems well-made and does its job perfectly. If you need a USB-C to serial adapter, this is a great option.

It works great for instrument automation
I have older oscilloscope and power supply that do not have USB but only serial comms. This cable works for both and will use it for measurement automation. I use Python. You can see my simple code to talk to a TEK TPS2024.
