My daughter and I both practice jiu jitsu so I ordered this product to help our grip strength training. It comes with a set that simulates the collar and another set that simulates the sleeves. The material is standard pearl weave gi material which makes training with them very life like. It also comes with a rubber tubing you can use to attach to the collars and sleeves to perform guard retention drills. Overall a great product! Please note, you will have to buy carabiners separately to attach the product to the rubber tubing or machines in the gym.

Great for strength training for jiu jitsu grips for both lapel and sleeve grips (includes both sets), practicing judo throws and even just using for strengthening and conditioning and PT or rehab like you would with therabands. Very durable elastic band.

These seem very sturdy and material is actual Gi material. Like that you can use resistance bands or even hook up to cable machine. Will come in handy for my son.

These grips are pretty handy. They feel like actual gi material and are durable. I’m only 5’3 so the resistance tube is a bit long but the grips are removable and can be used in the gym or with other resistance tubes. Great training tool although some hardware was missing.

I recently demoed the Elite Sports Jiu Jitsu Grip Trainer. I was impressed; this product simultaneously helps develop grip strength and grip placement (there are two sets of attachments, one for collar grips and one for lapel grips). I love that the grip trainers allow this sort of practice on a solo basis. I also appreciate that I can use the grip trainers to simulate various techniques like spider guard and lasso guard—again without the need for a partner.One note—the resistance band is fairly long. I ended up tying a knot in the band to ensure my feet could supply the appropriate level of tension when practicing my spider guard techniques.Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Elite Sports Jiu Jitsu Grip Trainer for anyone looking to boost their grip strength in a jiujitsu specific manner. It’s a great solo trainer.

I love that this product came with 2 sleeve grips and 2 lapel grips and the material is get eat quality! You can use the resistance band or some of your own for more/less resistance as your grip becomes stronger. We own a BJJ gym and highly recommend this product! It’s also at a great price, and I will be ordering more for our gym!
