Small, Simple, and Cost-Effective Printer
Very nice printer — small, simple, and prints well, nothing fancy but works perfectly. I love the HP membership option, where you can print for very little cost. Honestly, it’s amazing because I used to spend £20–30 on ink after printing about 10 pages, and then months would pass without using it, and the ink would dry out, forcing me to buy more. This time, I decided the ink cost more than the printer itself (it was on sale), so I bought it and got a free trial for a few months — I didn’t pay for ink at all. Great option, great printer, very easy to connect and set up, looks nice too. Highly recommend!

Effortless Setup, Sharp Prints, and Great Value – HP Does It Again
I needed a second printer for my business and decided to stick with HP, as I’ve always had a reliable experience with their products. After browsing around, I found the HP DeskJet 2820e All-in-One Printer on Amazon — incredibly affordable and available with next-day delivery through Prime, which made it an easy choice. Setup was effortless. Within minutes of unboxing, I had it up and running. All I had to do was plug it in, download the HP Smart app, and follow the on-screen prompts. The whole process took less than ten minutes, and I had it connected, configured, and registered without a hitch. For such a compact and low-cost printer, the print quality really impressed me. Documents come out crisp and professional-looking, and photos are vibrant with well-balanced colours. Scanning and copying are just as simple, and everything can be managed straight from my phone or laptop — no cables cluttering up the desk, no complicated setup. One of the best features is the inclusion of 3 months of HP Instant Ink, which takes all the stress out of running low on cartridges. It monitors usage automatically and orders replacements before you run out — a small but brilliant convenience that saves time and money. It’s also refreshingly quiet in operation and wakes up from standby almost instantly, so there’s no waiting around. Wi-Fi connectivity has been reliable too — no frustrating dropouts or reconnect issues. The only minor downside I’ve found is that you can’t scan directly from the iPhone app without creating an HP account — a small frustration, but not a dealbreaker. Overall, the HP DeskJet 2820e is a fantastic little printer for home or small business use. It’s sleek, simple to use, and delivers sharp, dependable results every time. For everyday printing, scanning, and copying, it’s hard to fault — especially at this price point.

Reasonable priced home printer
Purchased as my 9 year old printer also HP developed problem with the electric cable that attaches to back of printer. It became very loose allowing power only intermittently. Cost of repair more than cost of printer. Decided to buy this HP printer very reasonably priced. Set up was easy and appears to work well. I do not utilise printer on daily / weekly basis so sufficient quality for home printer. Did not sign to HP ink not a good deal for me as usage is very low. Update : down side to this printer it cannot print borderless photos. All photos will have a border at bottom which is larger than the other three borders all HP e printers are like this. This cannot be changed by app / computer etc.

Cannot express my hatred for this printer. Should’ve stuck with Cannon
Edit: I honest cannot express how much I HATE this printer. I didn’t think it possible to hate an inanimate object as much as I do this printer. Biggest bag of. You have to reconnect it to the WiFi every single time you want to print anything and even then it has to be done via an app that is also as much use as a chocolate teapot. Or you have to waste your ink in hopes it prints the full Printer information report for it to give you the password to connect to its own ‘wi-fi’. I’ve needed to use this printer 4 times since buying it in September and other than the first time setting up it hasn’t work. I’ve had to disconnect it from power and remove it from the app and go through the whole ‘Set up’ each time. My Wi-Fi is fine and the ink is the official ones it came with. Thought this would be an easy and plug and play. I’d say it was value for money but at this point it’s just an expensive paper holder. The ink barely lasts (probably because each time you turn it on and off it prints out a ‘report’. They constantly try and push their ink packages on you and to be fair you’ll need it because this thing guzzles ink. Not to mention it never prints things how you want so you’ll find yourself printing the same thing multiple times. The husband has given in after trying to use it himself tonight and has agreed we’re buying a new one. 4 month old printer straight to the tip!

HP 2820e A4 Printer Scanner Copier
Absolutely brilliant compact A4 printer, with scanner and photocopier. Supplied with small starter ink packs. HP Instant Ink subscription gives you an upgraded 6 months free trial in you register for it within a week of receiving or setting up your printer. This gives you free ink to your door and enables you to work out what your typical printing needs are in a month to know which monthly subscription package is best for you after the trial ends, and then you keep getting genuine HP ink 50% cheaper than in store. Very easy to instal and use from the HP app on your computer, and works seamlessly from a phone app too, so long as each device is on the same WiFi network that you've set the printer to. It only works with WiFi. There is no cable. No problems printing anything. Couple of glitches in the first couple of days, with it saying printer was online but unavailable, when I then learned that if this happens you need to switch everything off and on again to reset it. Everything seems to be stable since then - no problems printing from laptop or phone, from any document/page/image/photo source. HP customer support is superb. Prompt callbacks, professional support will talk and walk you through what to do to help you with your query. Patient and friendly support agents willing to help dummies. Print quality is great. Works with ease. Total bargain. Fabulour price. Great service from Amazon, too. I'm so glad I chose HP, and love my printer/copier/scanner. It prints instantly, and is fast enough for my domestic needs. Colour prints look true to colour.
