Very fragile, but delightful
"This is why we can't have nice things" may well be something you say if you're not careful with this beauty. So if you know yourself to be the type to always be breaking glasses, maybe you should just stick with a thick restaurant-grade mixing glass. On the other hand, the shape really gives you a lot of room for your ice to spin. It's a delight to use and to behold.

Must Buy!
I am an inspiring mixologist and I love to entertain. I have been looking for new processes to cut down the time for preparing cocktails and this mixing glass has done the job for me! The Yarai mixing glass has a good weight so it should not move around the counter when adding and mixing. It has a pour spout at the top and your Hawthorne cocktail strainer fits on the top nicely. To top it off it looks great! Very pleased with this buy.

Perfect mixing glass
Beautiful crystal mixing glass with a heavy bottom. With a bar set this would be an excellent gift for anyone with a love for cocktails.

Broke after 2 weeks of use
I loved this until it just broke, while stirring a drink with a bar spoon, after only 2 weeks of regular use. While the bottom is nice and heavy, the sides are very thin, and the side is what broke. Now I have to buy another mixing glass...

Good, but wobbly.
It's a great mixing glass. It's large and looks very elegant. My only complaint is that it's wobbly -- not enough to tip -- just enough that I have to hold the base while mixing.

Attractive and heavy. It's not cheap, but you're getting some very nice quality that if you're considering this piece, you'll appreciate.

Visible flaws
Visible flaws in the glass. A replacement glass of a different style had the same issue

Not a Real Yarai®
It's a nice mixing glass but it's definitely not from Cocktail Kingdom® nor is it actually a Yarai®. This is falsely advertised! The box says handmade glassware created by Mixologists and on the top a piece of black tape covers up the work Yarai in the phrase "Yarai cut". I'm going to keep it because it's a gift for someone whose birthday is very soon, but beware, it's probably not worth the price when there are much cheaper off-brand mixing glasses.
