Purchased to improve my espresso game alongside my beloved Sage Barista Express. Solid metal construction means it will likely last a lifetime, and while careful use means I won’t need them in the immediate future, the device comes with a tube of replacement prongs, which is a great little bonus.

Bargain, can’t imagine I’d need anything more! I only use 4 needles, seems to work best for me.

I was hesitant to buy this WDT as it felt like another espresso machine accessory that I was being told to buy. I use a Ninja cafe premier and this tool has actually made a difference and improvement to the coffee. Since using the WDT tool I am getting a much more consistent flow. The needles are thin enough to easily break up clumps effectively. Build quality feels solid for the price, it’s comfortable to hold and really easy to use. You don't need to know any fancy techniques to stir the coffee grounds. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the needles feel slightly delicate, so you do need to be careful when cleaning or storing it. It doesn't feel completely secure in the resting position. That said, for home baristas looking to improve shot consistency, this is a great value and a useful addition to an espresso setup.

It's a small piece of metal, with multiple needles, yet it will highly improve your espresso game. The key to a good extraction is to ensure there's no clumping of your coffee, and that it's fully distributed inside the portafilter before you tamp it. It's a simple job, and this thing does it well. Includes replacement needles in case you break one over time. Highly recommended, along with a dosing funnel (to give you more room to work and avoid wasting coffee) and a good tamper.

Um für mich das maximale Barista-Erlebnis in den eigenen vier Wänden zu erschaffen, "musste" ich natürlich auch einiges an Zubehör für die neue Siebträgermaschine besorgen. Unter anderem diese Espressonadel hier. Eigentlich lässt sich nicht viel dazu sagen. Die Espressonadel liegt gut in der Hand, lässt sich einfach zusammenbauen und hat allgemein ein wertiges Materialgefühl. Die Espressonadel kommt auseinandergebaut. Je nach Wunsch können bis zu 7 Nadeln in den Kopf eingesetzt werden. Anfangs dachte ich, dass die Nadeln etwas zu locker sitzen, ich habe jedoch rausgefunden, dass das so sein muss. Zum Auflockern und zum Vermeiden von Klumpen im frisch gemahlenen Kaffeepulver eigentlich ein Muss für jeden Hobby-(oder auch Profi)Barista!
