I use the ladder a lot to reach higher cupboards in the kitchen, and it folds away neatly, fitting into a gap between the fridge and the wall. It's easy enough to open up and feels secure and steady when it's open even though it is fairly lightweight, but I don't feel very safe on the top step as the ladder is fairly narrow so I can't put me feet far enough apart to feel stable, and the handle at the top doesn't come up very high.

Easy little ladder we use for the football team to put nets up and down fits in boot great and is very sturdy.
