COAST PX1R 1000 Lumen Rechargeable LED Flashlight

This is the best small flashlight I have ever owned. It’s bright as heck, beam is adjustable from flood to spot, clip is firm and reversible, the rechargeable batter holds a good charge for its size, can also use AAA batteries. Can charge battery pack in or out of the flashlight. It’s slightly pricey but I would buy it again if I ever lost it!

Another excellent light from coast. I have the PX1 and I wanted to get another one, so I saw the PX1R. I use rechargeable batteries in my other Coast Lights, and figured why not get one with the rechargeable battery. This is a great light, cause you can also use the battery pack they give you, and use aaa batteries. The rechargeable battery can be charged in the light, or you can take it out and charge it. this is a great idea.

As I think. The battery life is just 3 days, not much as I wish - but I recommend it.

I love the earlier version of this light, and I have four of them. I bought this newer version, and if I didn’t value compatibility with my earlier version, would give it five stars. It’s very bright, compact, and so far very durable. This new version uses a different battery, and a different USB connector, and the battery must be removed to charge it. This could be positive if one has a “fleet” of them, as you could swap in a charged battery and continue to use the light while the first battery is being charged. For me it’s a negative as my earlier version uses a different battery and charger. Therefore having several of the same light has no advantage over having two totally different types of lights. In addition, my other Coast lights all use a common charger. I am a huge fan of Coast products, but I think changing the type of charger was a slap in the face of dedicated Coast fans.

I like that the unit comes with a Rechargeable pack and a back up alkaline pack. Simple on/off (without 5 annoying modes that I don’t use), bright, and durable. I recently dropped it from about 20-25 ft onto a concrete floor & the only damage was a scuff on the lens bezel. It still functions 100%. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is its price. $70 was pricey to me, but so far it’s been worth it.

Simple and easy to use. Click once for super bright. 2nd click for lower brightness. Couldn't get any better than this. Depending on how much you use it, battery life is still pretty good. I also like the extra battery pack it comes with and so far I have not needed to change it yet

Great flashlight. The clip can be reversed so the flashlight can be attached to your ball cap and used as a headlamp. The flashlight produces a very bright beam with variable focus. I leave it plugged into the charger in my work van over the weekend and the battery lasts all week. I highly recommend this flashlight.
