Works
Works as intended. I now have a shotgun mic on Mt 360 ace pro.

Sometimes hard wiring is better
Used this device on my 10k cross country trip and it worked perfect. MotoVlogged the whole trip without a problem. Go with a decent mic and it sounds great.

Seems like a winner
I haven't used it for a mic yet. I really got it as I can power it with a battery pack while using on my bike so I don't need to get or swap batteries. It works perfect for this. Otherwise, I would need to have the side door open. I am looking forward to using a nice stereo mic in the he future to get better sound so the mic input should be worthwhile.

I now have the ability to get great audio with my Ace Pro
Works great! A couple minor issues…One issue is that with a mono mic, it will record to only one channel and play through only one speaker. I’d rqther it record two mono tracks for left and right… Can be fixed in editing though it’s another step. I personally prefer to use a stereo lavaliere setup. It’s a pair I bought from Sound Professionals maybe 15 years ago.One major improvement to the piece that can be made (if possible) would be a gasket that made the unit waterproof again while this is attached (for rain and fishing applications). Not an issue with this part, but rather with the recorder; I wish the gain could be adjusted without pausing the video. I like having the ability to monitor the gain though on the screen…One failsafe I found while experimenting is that if the mic cable is accidentally pulled out, the ace pro will switch automatically back to the onboard mics. Bonus.

Doesn't even work--Defective
Would give a 0 if I could. USB-C port on the adapter I received doesn't even work. I bought it in hopes to use with DJI mic mini and the xplorer frame. Pretty sad I got a defected part. No QC? Save money and just buy a USBC extension adapter for 1/3 the price

Works great but no PD charging
Makes an external USB-C power/audio splitter unnecessary. Fits properly and separates the power and audio as it should. Easy to snap on and off, which is necessary to remove the camera SD card. I was disappointed that it doesn't support fast PD charging. But I found that most, if not all, USB-C splitters don't support PD.
