This thing helped save me from missing 5 weeks of work
I was really hesitant on buying this from all the bad reviews however for $15 I decided to just try it with intentions of returning it. But holy crap am I happy I bought it. I had a really bad roller hockey injury to my left wrist a few weeks ago. I severely sprained a tendon and Ligament that made my primary hand virtually worthless. Since it wasn’t a muscle inure, I was able to hold weight on it as long as my wrist didn’t bend out of line. Being an electrician who works with his hands it’s imperative I have both hands at 100% at all times. This thing offers unparalleled support while being just small enough to fit in tight spaces. It’s a lot more durable than I thought it would be but I’ve been wearing it for 5 weeks under have use and it’s still solid. Bought another one for at home use that isnt all dirty.

Add strap hold down method.
Great support for my wrist. I would make only one suggestion: create a hold down for the two straps. They flap around and look unfinished. Velcro or belt loop style.

All of them are good, but really bulky and kind of claustrophobic for ...
I have Ehler-Danlos Syndrome and wear a lot of different braces.I have many different types of braces made by my orthopedist (like the hard, plastic heat-molded ones), some "off the shelf" ones I got from OT, and some I've bought myself. All of them are good, but really bulky and kind of claustrophobic for every day use. Plus, they limit motion so much (by design obviously) that it's impossible to do much while wearing them. This brace, even though it's for carpal tunnel syndrome, seems to do a good job to fill the void between a soft brace and a super hard brace. It's a little uncomfortable on the top of my arm (since it's not a custom fit obviously) but I think I can get around that by working with the plastic a little bit. I also like the way it looks, it's less bulky and easier to use than most of my other braces. There's also more "thumb room" so it's easier to hold and pick things up.I bought one for my right wrist and they function the same.

The orthotic is light, durable, easy to clean/ use and comfortable.
I Worked in prostheticsand orthotics for 15 years and for an off the shelf orthotic I feel this is a great product. The orthotic is light, durable, easy to clean/ use and comfortable. I am an old brachial plexius injury which leaves my arm flaccid so I am a long term user. This orthotic keeps my wrist in a neutral position and for me I can and do wear all day.and do a lot of dirty greasy things. When I paint the house work on cars work outside and a quick hand wash almost like washing your hands I an ready to go to church ....the older I get (67) the more I like and wear this brace. When I use an arm sling my wrist is controlled by the sling and I take the orthotic off.I feel you are going to be hard pressed to find a better bargain than this item for the cost. ( if it will work for you)

Good enough for the price
Update: the relief provided by this product isn't great, about half of more traditional braces. Also, 35 days into using it I woke up to discover that the plastic that holds the plastic strap in place had snapped. I'm going to attempt to return it and buy something better.I bought this brace for my left hand which has severe, uncorrected carpal tunnel. I wear a brace on my left hand every night and any time I am in the same position for more than a few minutes or when my hand has to be lifted higher than my chest for more than a minute or so.Let's start with the pros:-it's lightweight, much nicer than the bulky braces you normally see in stores-NO VELCRO! A major bonus!-Unlike most braces it's all one piece, meaning there is no metal stabilizer to rip through the fabric and poke your hand all night long-The open design and hard shell casing mean this brace won't get smelly like the other kinds do. Bescause it has no velcro it's much more washable. Now for the cons:-The plastic is very cheaply manufactured and this brace looks cheap.-The medium size was recommended for my wrist size and it fits, but the palm pocket is too deep and my hand doesn't nicely fit. This brace seems like it would fit a man's larger hand much better than my female hand :-/-The straps are a major pain in the butt. I don't want to pull too hard because the plastic clips keeping the straps in place are so flimsy, but the straps are really hard to pull through the clips. If you don't adjust the straps just so the clips won't stay in place and the brace will fall right off your arm.-If you have severe carpal tunnel and are used to wearing full braces for nighttime relief this just may not do the job well enough.All-in-all this item gets 3 stars because it's just ok. It does the job for now but I'm still on the search for a brace that works well overnight, is washable, and doesn't stink after daily wear.

Within 30 days my wrist was 80% better. Might seem a little flimsy
Product worked as advertised. I'm a systems programmer; so I am constantly on a keyboard at work and home. Wore it at work for 8 hours. Within 30 days my wrist was 80% better. Might seem a little flimsy; but its not. Lots of freedom for movement as well. Great lightweight product. ** Side note: wash the material before you wear it.

Dont stay on very well.
I wanted to love these (I bought them for both hands) but they are uncomfortable and the clasp part unattaches so easily. I have been using the lace up type of braces for a few years now and wanted an alternative to velcro but these did not work for me at all. Nice idea but they need to use a better clasp.
