I was really excited to try this after reading the reviews & I spent 20 minutes reading a LOT of them. It is the WORST sugar-free maple-flavored syrup I have ever tried, and I have tried a lot. The consistency was like water. Even after reading the label to find we are told SHAKE WELL. The big downside of being SO thin, (outside the awful flavor) is seeps into one's French Toast or pancakes to make them so very SOGGY. It would be better to use a sugar and thick syrup because then one uses so LITTLE> The sweetener aftertaste was one of the strongest I have found, and there was actually a chemical-like taste to it. There was not even any hint of maple flavor to it. To see the high-star reviews gave me confidence...not sure we are all discussing the same product. So have to assume that is why there is such a variety of products; we all have different tastes. In all the years with Amazon, this is one of the very few times a very high rating has let me personally down.!!I I wanted to buy just ONE bottle to try, but NO, the product comes in one pack of THREE. I wish I hadn't wasted so much money. The one good benefit is when one takes off the label (very easy to do) one is left with a beautifully designed plastic bottle (13 oz) which is rectangular and thin and just GREAT to carry water in one's shoulder bag or briefcase. So I threw out the 3rd bottle's contents that I simply can not stomach to repurpose this great-designed bottle.

Has a funky taste. Choc Zero syrup tastes a lot better.

Tastes delicious and we use it for everything; pancakes, dressings, coffee, etc.

No aftertaste!
