I've recently bought a new house. I've been searching for a cleaning product that would allow me to clean and disinfect thoroughly years old dirt and grime, stains, grease, mould and everything in between. And that's how I found Byotrol. It's got a really high concentration of the active ingredients and it's supper efficient in use. I used it to wash, ceilings, walls, floors, tiles, wood (doors etc), windows and pretty mich everything else. The active ingredients are: Didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC) This is a type of quaternary ammonium compound (often called "quats"), widely used as a disinfectant and sanitizer. It's effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, viruses, and fungi. In multipurpose cleaners, it serves as an active disinfecting agent, killing microorganisms on surfaces. Alkyl (C12-16) Dimethylbenzyl Ammonium Chloride (ADBAC/BKC) Another quaternary ammonium compound, also known as benzalkonium chloride. It has similar disinfecting and antimicrobial properties to DDAC, effectively killing a variety of bacteria, fungi, and some viruses. It also works as a surfactant, which helps in the cleaning process. The concentration of the active ingredients and remaining contents are Active ingredients: Didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC) 5.6g/Kg, Alkyl (C12-16) dimethylbenzyl ammonium chloride (ADBAC/BKC) 1.4g/Kg. Other ingredients: <5% aliphatic hydrocarbons, <5% cationic surfactants, <5% non-ionic surfactants, <5% perfumes. Contains Hexyl cinnamal, 2- methylisothiazol 3(2H)-one, 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, Iodopropynyl butylcarbamate. Byotrol dissolves all dirt really easily and leaves the surfaces clean and degreased. It has a pretty strong odour while spraying, and cleaning, but when dry it leaves just a discreet, fresh, clean scent. A fantastic product, couldn't recommend it enough.

I have been using various Byotrol products for years, but this is the first time I bought the 5L concentrate. I bought a 750ml spray bottle of it at the same time to get much cheaper refills. I have only used the spray bottle so far, but have already used it to clean out a basement understairs cupboard that had been ruined by a slow leak from a washing machine inlet leak. Everything in the cupboard was damp and covered in mould. After throwing everything out, I sprayed the concrete floor & walls. It says 30-second kill, but I gave it half an hour. The black mould easily washed off the wall and I was confident it was safe. I put a dehumidifier block in there to dry out any remaining damp. From what I understand, 150ml will make up a full 750ml for using in the trigger spray. This is the strongest dilution. There are other dilutions for disinfecting & general cleaning. I would recommend buying a Pelican trigger pump to get accurate measurements and prevent spills as this stuff is very strong. I ordered mine from Amazon and it is sold as ANIGENE 5L Non-drip Pelican Pump. It dispenses 10ml per pump. You can buy other Pelican pumps for 5L containers with various pump amounts, but I ordered the Anigene as I knew it was a Byotrol product. It arrived today and the sticker on the bag says 'Byotrol pump' £4 is a lot for a plastic pump but probably money well-spent.

I bought this cleaner after using Byotrol hand foam for over a decade. Super strong cleaning action, especially when used on mould in a damp car. Be sure to dilute properly, or it will leave a greasy film on surfaces. Five stars!

I tried it once and it did the job well. Definitely good product.

Good ,although it did make me wonder if this is watered down bleach?

Been using this since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and it has been invaluable to me. Still wipe down all groceries to this day, clean kitchen surfaces and wipe down handles etc, knowing that it is offering me and my family protection.
