Really enjoyed this book
I have read a few other contract marriage books, but this one is definitely the best. It has a lot of drama, but it isn’t so over the top that it started to annoy me. The characters were well-developed and likable. Particularly the h. I was afraid with the way the book started that she would become too cold and abrasive, but her character stayed true to who she is, just with more of a backbone.I did feel like certain plot points were off. Her family was surprisingly absent for the most part. I really expected more from them based on the way they were written, but it felt like the author just forgot about them at times. I also didn’t understand how Vonnie was involved with Preston, yet she and her family weren’t really aware of the deal. At least it seemed like they weren’t.I also felt a little like the H’s determination to oust her was a little forced. It didn’t otherwise fit his character’s actions and behaviors for most of the book. It would have made more sense if he’s tried to back down earlier, but miscommunication ended up being at fault.Otherwise, this book was very enjoyable and was a rare five star from me. Doesn’t happen often. I will certainly be checking out other books from this series.

A intrigue filled arranged marriage romance to delve into
This review may contain spoilers, so fair warning, upon reading the review.Book Evaluation:Plot: 🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️World Building:🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎Cover:📔📔📔Hero: 🦸🏻🦸🏻🦸🏻🦸🏻Heroine:🦸🏻♀️🦸🏻♀️🦸🏻♀️🦸🏻♀️.5Intimacy Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥Relationship Building: 💒💒💒💒Heart & Feels:💞💞💞💞Witty/Banter/Reaction of Laughter: 😂😂😂😂Page Turner Level:📖📖📖📖📖Ending:🧧🧧🧧🧧Overall View: ✨✨✨✨First ImpressionsContractually Yours if the 4th installment in the "Lasker Brothers" series but this is my first book from this author. I was recommended this book by a friend on bookstagram as she knows how much I adore arranged marriage. So I quickly grabbed this one up even though its the middle of a series, but from what I could tell, this series can be read as standalones. I also found that the blurb to this story to be so fascinating and the title alone held my fascination. This is a story though that really worked and we also see that both our hero and heroine have so much in common especially in how their families treat them. Its a story that really brings together both characters that are also wealthy in their own rights and such great competense porn to satisfy any reader.First LineNobody should like murder when they're listening to "il est ne le divin enfant".SummarySebastian and Lucianne first met when they were younger. Sebastian was in his early twenties and Lucianne when she is a teenager. The encounter is what emboldens Lucianne to battle the best against her family and not let their shenanigans win over her desire to claim what is hers and to hold her own against such betrayals living in a house of snakes that only want her money and nothing else. Now its been years later and Lucianne has never forgotten the man that gave her wise advice and when her fiancee is found cheating on her with her sister who has been her enemy since she was a teenager, there is one man that she would marry and makes a offer to his family. But what she doesn't know is that Sebastian's family forces him into a loveless marriage, and he vows for revenge against those that would force him into such a agreement. But as Sebastian and Lucianne come together in their marriage, there is an outside force working to undermine them but will they discover the culprit or will their marriage suffer the betrayals and secrets that are ahead for them? What I LovedI absolutely adored Contractually Yours. It was such a delight. There is something so fun about reading a arranged marriage. I really found this story so fascinating. What I really liked is that we got the story to start with these two characters meeting when they are young and just learning about themselves and their own strengths. We see them then as adults taking charge of their families companies and doing what is necessary to maintain control over their own lives. Both Sebastian and Lucianne come from families that are determined to control them but both of them have such passionate warrior hearts willing to do whatever it takes to be independent from their families desires for them and forge their own paths. They are much more alike than either of them realize.I really found their chemistry just right, I loved how well they fit together even though their marriage is a bit rocky at first they also have such common ground with each other. And eventually they both see that for each other but it does take time. I also was endeared by the way in which they will protect each other from those that would undermine them. I really enjoyed their connection and what a great team they make together (tennis match is a prime example) and I loved the whole mystery behind the one trying to divide them and their business interests. It was quite a fun plot development. And the grovel at the end was just right and felt authentic in its moment although the heroine was a bit too hard on the hero, just sayin'.What I Struggled WithThe third act! LOL I really don't understand authors using this so much but honestly you could see this breakup happening from the very beginning of the story and there were some plot holes that happen throughout this one here. I was so saddened by it if I am being honest because there were just some answers I wanted our characters to get that they didn't receive. And I felt like the heroine should have forgiven the hero earlier than she did. She dragged it out way too much. The hero does bad sure, but he makes an effort to real show his love for her.Overall ViewContractually Yours is a intellectually superb romance that delivered with so much heart, tenacity and compelling writing that left me yearning for more from this author!Book Details (also in my shelves)Sub Genre: Contemporary RomanceCharacter Types: Billionaire, Alpha Male-Possessive, GrovelingThemes: Pining heroine, Secrets, Competense PornTropes: Arranged Marriage, Blackmail, Forced Proximity, Revenge, ProtectorBook PerspectiveDuo POVRelationship Conflict vs Plot ConflictBothSong This Book InspiresAll of Me by John LegendRecommendation For Reading OrderYou can read as a standalone

Why didn't I read this sooner?!
I have had this gorgeous story sitting in my tbr for a while, but it was the perfect book to kick off the New Year with. There are TW's to be aware of.⚠️Our Valkyrie, Luce, starts her story as a fourteen year old girl living in a toxic familial environment. After reaching a point, this lovely girl ventures off, meeting Sebatian for the first time. With strong words giving her the courage and determination to say enough was enough, she marches back to the hellhole that is her life with the determination of taking everything away from her so-called family.Eleven years have passed, and Luce has grown into a wonderful independent woman running her family business as CEO, but she has run into some complications. Surely, a contract marriage with Sebatian, the man she crushed on as a child and looked up to as an adult, couldn't go wrong, right? Dead wrong, and oh boy, does it hurt.Things I loved about this book:- It is the 4th book, but I was able to love it as a standalone. I look forward to reading the other books for this series.- The on and off enemies to lover's work romance between Luce and Sebatian was wonderful- There was a twist I really wasn't expecting when I dived into this one. It was a point that snowballed everything rapidly and I was yanked along with it.- The cheaters, abusers, and users all get the justice they deserve 😈-The aftercare, tenderness, love, compassion. Ah, it all was glorious. 🥰Dislikes- The ending felt rushed. I wasn't expecting the last date these love birds had to be filled with jewelry, words, and a rushed I DO.-Sebatian was a man who made sure that others were punished for wrongs in ways that would hurt them the most. He was excellent at this, and seeing the justice he delivered for sweet Luce was amazing. But for his own punishment, it felt lacking in some way.- There was quite a bit of repetition with a few subjects. I am cool with fillers, but at some points, it felt like it was taking away from the story rather than enhancing it.Overall, this was a phenomenal story. I simply couldn't put it down once I started.

Nadia Lee’s best book yet!
This romance has everything - enemies to lovers, witty banter, a strong-willed FMC coming into her own, a LOT of family drama and a very grumpy MMC who becomes such a simp.I thoroughly enjoyed this book - it’s was such a fun read from beginning to end. I loved that there wasn’t a lot of drama between Lucienne and Sebastian until the end, and most of it was them against their families. They make such a great team! The flow of this story was so natural - from their first chat (where he tells his assistant he never wants to speak to her, and she’s on speaker and hears everything), to their awkward wedding day, to the hilarious tennis match and finally, to their happy every after. Lucienne and Sebastian really grow together throughout this book and seeing them be a power couple and support each other was just amazing.I also usually find that a lot of MMC’s don’t grovel enough when they screw up - Sebastian is not one of them! His grovel was of epic proportions and with the intent that he had to prove himself to his wife before she took him back.I think this is Nadia Lee’s best book yet and I can’t recommend it enough!
