It's a Seagate.
Seagates are are the most reliable drives i own. I'm an IT professional. I trust Seagate with my data. I run various versions of Windows back to Win 7 and numerous Linux installs. Plug and Play. I have some slow ones, and a lot of fast ones. One I'm using is an acquired 160G drive with I don't know how many hours on it. It's fast and reliable. The new ones are a lot quieter than this old one. I don't buy anything but Seagate for mechanical drives. I have one that's been running 15 years with no loss.

I purchased this for storing backups.
I figured that purchasing the SABRENT SATA HDD/SSD dock was a better option than purchasing another external storage device. I had a few extra SATA HDD's laying around and wanted to use them for backups. I purchased this as well for additional storage capacity. Works well.

Non che sul mercato ci siano tantissime alternative, eh! Seagate è uno dei pochi costruttori 'classici' rimasto in questa fascia di prezzo. Però, bisogna ammettere che fa bene 'il suo sporco lavoro'. Se proprio devo trovargli un difetto, l'accelerazione all'accensione è così brusca che per un attimo produce una leggera vibrazione. Nulla di preoccupante: gli altri che ho lavorano così da anni e vanno sempre bene.
