Excellent product and customer support.
My 2-story cabin, 20x30 feet with loft has a single 2-ton mini-split, positioned between the two floors. Needless to say, it got cold downstairs and hot upstairs. I got this fan hoping it would equalize the temperatures. I am happy to say that even on it's lowest speed, it keeps the temperature consistent. On low speed, there is very little noticeable breeze, yet the big blades are moving a lot of air. On high speed, it gives a nice cooling breeze. There is no noise at all from the motor. The light is great also. It is plenty bright for a large room, yet dims down so as not to wake a sleeping person. Also great for romantic mood lighting! Other reviewers reported that the globe tends to come off and break. This problem has apparently been fixed. The globe is now plastic, and screws on. It isn't coming off, and even if it did, I doubt it would break. It is powered by totally off-grid solar, so energy consumption is a concern. This fan and light pulls 50 watts maximum! The build quality is good and installation is straight-forward. Ours is hung 20' off of the floor, so installing anything isn't going to be easy. Installing it is a 2-person job. The motor is HEAVY, (which is a good thing for performance and longevity.) We hung the motor to the down-tube with a piece of copper wire while we were hooking everything up. One of us held the fan in place while the other inserted the pin in the hole. We attached the blades last. The fan comes with three different down-tubes. We used the longest 3-foot one.Support is EXCELLENT. The light did not work initially. I called, and someone answered the phone. I promptly received an email, asking questions. I was advised to recheck the wiring. Sure enough, one of the pins on the light extension wire came off inside the downtube. Due diligence on my part would have prevented this. So, before installing, inspect all of the connectors, making sure the pins are inserted securely in the white shells. Also check to make sure the plastic housing of the controller is snapped together securely. Finally, a suggestion for installing any ceiling fan or light -- use Wago lever connectors instead of wire nuts. I wired the whole building almost entirely with Wago connectors. So much easier, especially when working overhead. They can be easily disconnected and reconnected. In summary, you can't go wrong with this fan. I wil be ordering one for installation on the covered porch. The aluminum blades will stand up to the inevitable moisture it will encounter. Thanks Amico!

Super quiet fans, look great, nice features
These fans are great, very quiet, and work well. They have adjustable color for the light, as well as dimming options. The remote control is quality and designed well to make the fan easy to use. Even on the low setting, they move a lot of air. The aluminum blades are beautiful and have a quality that I expect will last.

The Perfect Ceiling Fan?
Very close. Everything about this fan seems very good – fit and finish, installation instructions, packaging, etc., all excellent. The one feature that this fan has that I have not seen in any other similar fan (and the reason I bought it) is the ability to start, stop, and restart using only the wall switch. If a house built in the last 30 years or so was pre-wired specifically for ceiling fans, it almost certainly has two side-by-side wall switches, one for light, one for fan. This worked well with conventional ceiling fans, the ones with two pull-chains – turn off the wall switch, it stops; turn the wall switch back on and it comes back on, the same as when it was turned off. Now we have DC motors with multi-function remote controls. Turn the fan off with the wall switch and then turn it on again and . . . nothing. The remote must be used every time to restart fan and/or light, making for a two- or three-step process, not the least of which is finding the remote! However, this Amico fan has a memory function so when the wall switch is turned back on, the fan comes on as it was when shut off. Unfortunately, the light still must be controlled via the remote unless the light is wired directly to the wall switch, which is very easy to do, but then you lose the dimmer function of the remote. You can install a dimmer switch in place of the wall switch, which again is very easy to do, but it’s a little more money.Even if your house has one switch for both fan and lights, it’s still a very important feature to have. The truly perfect ceiling fan would have a switch on the control unit to select for combined or separate wall switches. Incidentally, all other functions of the remote (fan speed, rotation direction, etc.) all still function normally.

Extremely happy!
We bought three of these fans for a 36x24 covered patio. Exceptional value! These are 72” with 36” down rods. They have 3 speeds & can go in reverse depending on outdoor conditions. They are sleek & contemporary. They have 3 tones of brightness. One is a warm amber color which dims bright amber to dim amber. The next is typical soft white, & the third is cool white. All dim up or down with several hues for each tone. All controlled by individual remotes so that’s the only downside for us. It would be nice to have one remote for all three. Even being out in wide open air with no walls & living directly on a bay with an everyday breeze, these fans move air. We added six Coolaroo shades that are 10’ wide to keep the wind down & since doing that we now have to shut the fans down because the fans move air very well. I studied many reviews on Amazon to find the best fans for the money because we blew the budget on the blinds. These fans by far are the best. I look first for the best motor, the most stout fan blades, the finished surfaces, the aesthetics, & the ease to use. I’m also surrounded by salt water on a peninsula. So far, these fans are holding up well. If I get five years out of them I will have gotten my money’s worth. Skip the box stores & go with these.
