Price Action Trading

Price action is an important aspect of trading which we generally ignore...We run after indicators which is ultimately futile...This book give us insight of trading system and help us to comprehend the basic of price action and role of volume in trading.. written in lucid language this book is awesome.

I have read 2 books from this author & the common this in them would be the simplicity. This simplicity did help me understand how can I become a good trader. Trading is simple, If you are a systematic trader, You just have to follow afew rules. There's an insight of even after having a good enough trading system, Why could you fail as a Trader. As I said, Simple & Helpful.

Looking at charts retrospectively and analysing a chart during live market hours are two different things. It is very easy to find the bottom retrospectively in previous charts and find out entry and exit points and calculate imaginary profit,but this does not hold good most of the time in live market. Because nobody knows future. And market is always uncertain. Your break out concept is good but it is not consistent. Most of the time you hit stop-loss. The more the times you hit stop-loss you lose your confidence more. And ultimately your loss exceeds the profit

I have been trading since 4 years now. Still this book is successful in challenging some old concepts. The book is well written. Lots of examples. The volume relationship with price was really revealing. I had to read that chapter twice. The book ends with some real good advice. I recommend this book to serious traders.

Well, honestly speaking, this book didn't meet my expectations. The author himself told that he did not have any plan to write this book, but after having a pan India road trip with is friends, he suddenly decided to write a book on price action trading, and did it by simply staying in a guest house for some time. So that's it. It's loose packed with content matter. It's quite good for the beginners, as there are lots of advise based on psychology and money management, but the main topic, i.e. price action trading - lacks detailed analysis. What was even more frustrating was that the author often trying to sell his other online technical courses through this book.

It's basic knowledge book.
