Works great for mobile use. It’s soft and smaller. Just be aware that it does not come with the portable charger pack. We have a few so it wasn’t a big deal, I was just surprised it wasn’t included.

This is the second one of these I've bought, and I was glad to see the upgrade to USB-C. My first one held up really well, but I accidentally left it on an airplane. I hate being cold on airplanes, and I've used this many times on my back to keep me warm during a flight. It rolls up nicely and fits into the side pocket of my backpack. I also like to use it in my hotel after a long day of sightseeing.

I have muscle problems so I'm a heating pad power user and have purchased many great heating pads through Amazon. This was my first attempt at battery powered. For this product it was very frustrating trying to find a battery pak that would have the 2A AND fit into the pocket for it. I tried repeatedly on Amazon as did my husband using the terms specified in the instructions but no luck. When we finally found it, reviews were terrible. So to be able to use it out of the box, you would have to buy the version of this that includes the battery bank--which cost 2X as much-- or you have to buy other brands of battery and test to see if those will fit it the small pocket. None of our existing batteries fit & had 2A, which wasn't a deal killer b/c we were planning to replace those anyway. The battery pack from the other product--which matched the size of 2A battery paks we found on Amazon-- wouldn't fit into this one and the sizes of some of the packs we looked up on Amazon were iffy and we didn't have time to wait and test out packs. Luckily Amazon makes it easy to order and compare products. We had ordered 2 different battery heating pads at the same time to make a side-by-side comparison and b/c we didn't have time to shop around a lot. The two products were about the same price but the other one came w/battery pack and worked right out of the box. I really perferred the size and softness of this product but the battery frustration was a deal killer--we couldn't do a direct comparison w/out more ordering and waiting. I also liked that the other product came with a simple bag that everything could be stored in. I might have elected to pay the higher price for the version of this product that comes WITH a battery pack had I felt reviews were stronger than other similiar products. Having owned other products made by this brand name I've thought it was a good brand. They really degrade their brand name by doing this. That said, if I had ordered version of this product that came w/quality battery I might have kept it and sent back the lower priced competitor.

For a USB C heating pad, it works well! I actually got it to use with a battery pack when I need my mobility scooter in the winter. I keep it in the car for extra leg warmth on cold days. Small and super portable and heats up very nice.

These are just OK. They're better than nothing, and they do fulfill the need to be portable for travel. I can take these to other countries with me, and I can power them from my own portable power bank. However, the power on these pads is fairly low; they do not generate as strong a heat as plug-in pads. In addition, the heating area is smaller than it looks. The heating element does not cover the portion of the pad with the pocket and on/off key, so it's a pretty small area that can barely reach front-and-back on a shoulder. The price isn't bad and it does come with its own USB plug. Do note that this pad (as indicated in the listing) does NOT come with a battery pack. It must be plugged in while in use.

It's small, but powerful. It comes with a cord to plug it into the wall, but I haven't used it. My batter pack fits perfectly in the pouch! I only ever use it on the lowest setting (3 heat levels) and it gets plenty hot for my cramps. The elastic band is very stretchy, and it even fits my very large body. It's small enough though that if I'm going to stay seated, I just tuck it in the waistband of my pants. As someone who only occasionally uses a heating pad, I find it absolutely worth the purchase. I went with 4 stars because the small plugin cord is very stiff and seems cheaply made. Mine is good so far, but it wouldn't surprise me if that cord is a point of failure. And unfortunately without that cord, it would be useless.

Great product. Love the more modern USB-C connection. No need to add an additional unknown battery to your collection, just use your existing cell phone charging power bank. My wife loves it so much she wants a second one as a backup at work in case she has back pain there.

bought this along with 2x USB -C battery bank 10,000. The battery fits perfectly in the pocket on the heating pad, so it is truly portable. There are 3 settings. The high actually gets quite hot and I end up dropping down to medium and that is fine. It comes with a power adapter and 54” extension. It is a small pad, but for my application is perfect.

I wouldn’t recommend this product. Buying it was a mistake. I bought it for a ’when I need it day’ and set it aside. I injured my back and when I finally tried to use it and quickly realized my mistake. I wasn’t able to use it. Hard to put on, tied by a short cord, and now the return window was closed.

Surprised it being a sunbeam product. Yes, it works. No there is NO BATTERY enclosed, and No Response from customer when I wrote, as instructed to on box, as to where I could buy a battery that would fit into its very tiny pocket…received no reply. It’s flimsy, strap is just a wide piece of elastic: the type a seamstress would use - not a belt, as one would expect. Kept it because waited too long to return. It is USB chargeable. Will stretch to fit a larger six person.
