I have used this for protecting my fore arms when pruning roses. One particularly vicious rose that has sampled my blood in the past could only snag the sleeves but could not penetrate to my skin. Good for protecting the arms when picking blackberries too - I no longer have to wonder if it's juice or blood!

Brilliant! My husband has to take blood thinning tablets so with even the smallest cut he bleeds like mad, but not any more, so good l have bought some too. Wear them under gloves, would recommend.

I used the sleeves while grooming two very excitable Yorkshire terriers. They have previously scratched my arms very badly when I'm bathing them. I was very impressed . I didn't have any scratches. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that for me they would have been even better had they been waterproof .

The sleeves were close-fitting, but comfortable in use. Very useful for avoiding contact with rose thorns when gardening, or around any hard fixtures with defined edges, that could bruise or damage your skin.

Habe mir diese Stulpen gekauft, da ich beruflich öfter mal in Schaltschränke kriechen muss. Leider halten es deren Hersteller meist für unnötig Kanten zu entgraten etc..Daher sahen meine Arme meist aus, als hätte ich einen Kampf gegen einen Fleischwolf geführt...Das hatte mit diesen Stulpen ein Ende.Bin wirklich froh, dass ich sie gefunden habe.Sie tragen sich auch sehr angenehm. Da sie metallfrei sind pieksen sie auch nicht.Schwitzen tut man auch nicht mehr als vorher.Kaufempfehlung!
