Very beautiful design, unusual and special clock that Iām proud to display.
Really nice features and love the unusual look and design. The display shines with high definition and quality through the wood. I would have given five stars not four, but⦠⦠and this sounds strange on a review for a digital clock⦠Iām almost certain it loses time, maybe a minute or so every month.

great bedroom clock
This clock is perfect if you don't want the light shining from the display all night, it turns off and comes back on with a simple tap, perfect!

Looses minutes.
Not accurate, loses about 6 to 10 minutes a year. Which is becoming annoying now as I canāt bring myself to throw it away because itās not fully broken!

Nice design, and useful 'display off' function, but that's about it.
First the good points. The clock's design is great. The wood effect from which the display magically appears is cool looking and would suit the majority of decors. I also love the ability to have the display off until the clock detects a bit of noise or vibration, so the light doesn't keep you up all night, and this was the main reason for my purchase. These plus points have earned it two stars. Now to the bad bits. The display has three brightness levels. Unfortunately, in ascending order these are 'High Noon', 'Acetylene Torch', and 'Supernova'. I'm a bit light sensitive at night, but there's no way anyone could sleep through even the lowest setting without waking up to a dose of snow-blindness and a seriously good tan. The operating system is another area crying out for improvement. Not having a dual Ph.D. in cryptology and ancient runes, I was somewhat mystified by the plethora of seemingly random button pushes that the instructions deem necessary to set an alarm. To do so involves scrolling through all the other settings, such as the current year and date before you get to the alarm bit - which is a right pain if you wake up at different times each day, or want to simply turn the alarm off or on. Far worse though is the ear-splitting BEEP! that is triggered by a button push, each one sounding like you are prodding a wounded chimpanzee with a sparkler - bringing me nicely onto what is by far the worst aspect of the clock, its sound. If you want to be woken up by a device screaming like Norman Bates just found it in his shower, then this is for you. It doesn't so much wake you up, as it does sonically punch you in the ears. Repeatedly. It's like the worst 80's digital clock imaginable bred with a banshee, then kicked the result down the stairs. No one, I repeat, no one wants to be within 10 miles of this thing when it gets going. The first time I set it, I went from peaceful slumber to abject terror in a millisecond, barely managing to cling on to the contents of my bowels - definitely not a great way to start the day. Worse still, if the sheer fear of it going off wakes you before it starts, you can't turn the alarm off without the 50 odd button presses and their accompanying chimp-torture-scream. For the sake of my sanity, my marriage, and my bedsheets I'm returning this today. In truth, I'd sooner be late for work than suffer it any further.

A Poor Alarm Clock - An Average Review
- The Temperature reader does not work - It's out by 12 degrees calciols currently - put's little faith in the Humidity reader. - The alarm clock is difficult to set with only 3 buttons. - The instructions seem to have been translated - poor English grammar and some sentences are not completed. - Out of the 5 test alarms I set only 1 worked - I'm still unsure how as I have a good understanding of the controls now. - There's no Alarm Icon on the clock when you have them set. (If you look at the Alarm Icon on the product pictures, its a different shade of white to the rest of the digital text. I believe its photoshoped on for marketing. It doesn't show on mine, instead is just a little plain dot)
