Kinesio Tex Gold FP Tape - Black - 5m x 5cm

I bought this tape to try and help with an Achilles problem I was suffering with. I went online (YouTube) to search for videos on how to apply the tape correctly and there are many videos out there which is helpful. Once applied correct you can really feel a difference. I applied mine before going out to run or play football just to give me that little bit extra support. I've heard a lot of people complain about it not sticking to their skin and it just keeps peeling off. I've had no problems however, I know there isn't any hair on the soul of my foot, however, there is hair on the back of my leg and I found it to stick just fine. The tape would stick much better on skin without any hair but I wasn't going to shave my legs just to stick some tape on. I also found for an extra £7-8 you can pick up some sports tape spray which is like a glue spray that helps with tape sticking to the skin. If you do get some of this I would recommend you don't apply it over any part of your body with hair as I found it to pull the hairs a lot and be very uncomfortable so please bare that in mind and only use on skin with no hair to save yourself some pain. I use it mainly to pray the edges when it starts to come away and it solves the problem for another few days. Be sure to round off the edges before applying to help the tape against rubbing on clothing and once applied make sure to really rub the tape and heat it up to help with the sticking process. I love the colours the tape comes in, really eye catching. They come in a really nice little box and the delivery on this item (even on super saving delivery) was really fast. I got my tape within a couple of days of placing my order. I would recommend buying this tape over something that is a bit cheaper as you are getting your moneys worth. The 5m tapes goes a long way and should last you a while unless you use way too much.

I use this for my son's (age 5) knees for patella instability. It seems to help as he doesn't cry all evening about his legs hurting after doing exercise in the day now. We just about 4-4.5 large squares of tape on each knee, cut in 2 length ways to make it thinner for his smaller knees. He wears this for 5 days with 2 days off. The box lasts ages and sticks really well, but also comes off well and quickly (he is extremely sensitive to pain). Great product!

Very speedy delivery, arrived before it was expected. Tape has been very helpful when used, also you can take a shower or a bath and it will stay on and not get wet. Have found it can be painful to remove, not in any big way but definitely noticeable. This tape is pre-cut into strips so you you just apply without having to measure, which means you won't use too much as the product can be expensive.

Purchased for my girlfriend as she fractured her coccyx & a slight fracture further up her back due to a fall. She wanted to carry on at the gym & friends used it for muscle injury's so she gave it a go. Absolutely fantastic product, helps support injury & elevate pain. Couldn't for the life of me understand how a strip of tape can stop pain but found out myself when I used it for a shoulder injury. Great product & great price, will definitely be using it again.

I found this product excellent and have used it for the last two years. I originally bought it for knee pain and shin splints, having tried a range of other supports and different running shoes. In particular the youtube videos are helpful - you don't need to put as much tape on as you might think. Within a week the pains had gone and I'm now running about 30k per week without any problems. I should say though that it doesn't stick so well on hairy legs.....I eventually shaved a couple of strategic patches either side of my knees and now have no problems (except the occasional strange look when I'm wearing shorts without the tape!!)

Quick delivery, good price & and great product. My physio therapist used kinesio tape to strap up my problematic ankle, and as it made such a difference to me I decided to buy my own so I could re-do my strapping in between physio sessions. Will definitely buy again.

I use this product for taping my knees when running, in order to relieve the pain from arthritis.

The product itself is okay. Less adhesive than I expected. There was a bit of confusion during delivery, although it arrived on the estimated day.

Best kinseio tape I have used yet! It stayed in place for two weeks! Other brands start to peal after a day.

Klebt gut, ohne die Haut zu sehr zu reizen - besonders Allergiker wie ich kommen damit gut zurecht! Kann ich empfehlen!

Benutze regelmäßig Kinesio Tape am Rücken oder den Waden. Dieses hier wurde mir vom Physiotherapeuten empfohlen. Nun habe ich entweder ein Montagsprodukt bekommen oder aber dieses Tape ist echt schlecht. Auf trockene, gespannte Haut geklebt. Lockeres Joggen für 40min mit wenig Schweiß und zack löst es sich überall und lässt sich abheben, als wäre kein kleber vorhanden fast schon. Nur ganz leichte Haftung. Zudem verursacht es zu dem bei mir starken Juckreiz und Rötung. Habe es trotzdem 2-3x versucht, leider immer der gleiche Effekt. Für den Preis ist es das dann nicht Wert. Und ich gehe auch nicht das Risiko ein ein weiteres zu bestellen, nur um zu testen, ob es an meiner Rolle lag. Schade.

Works like a charm. Accept no cheap store brand substitutes which don't work NEARLY as well. This stuff is GREAT!
