SUPERIOR QUALITY!!!! Made in USA
This Carolina Pine Christmas Tree by National Tree Company is made with superior quality with no awful plastic odor. Wires and connectors are thoughtfully sealed and fastened with safety in mind. Plenty LED bulbs per branch, sturdy and easy set up. Effortless fluffing, thick. beautiful and natural shape, 2 colored and sizes pine and the soft foam made pine cones are in perfect harmony!!! We purchased the 7.5’ tall for a typical 8’ ceiling, bottom of tree is about 55” in diameter that’s is perfectly sized. Purchased during Black Friday sale for $149. LOVE this purchase with ZERO regret for replacing the cheaply made smelly Christmas tree from local store. I can see this tree last years to come, even if it doesn’t, National Tree Company is where my future purchase will be! Made in NJ, USA

Better Than Expected
Really happy with this tree. It’s very full and bushy once it’s set up, and the branches feel sturdy enough to hold heavier ornaments without bending. It did take quite a bit of time to fluff everything out, and a few of the softer, fluffy branches stayed a little smashed no matter how much I worked on them. However, the tree still looks really nice and has a great overall shape. The lights are bright and evenly spaced as well. Overall, very glad I bought it and would definitely recommend it.

which was great. That was the last I was happy about ...
I come home from work to find the large box waiting for me...2 days with prime shipping, which was great. That was the last I was happy about this. I get out the 3 sections, out tree together and begin opening/separating all the branches. The first thing I notice was a couple of branches that seemed to be hanging quite a bit lower then the others...sort of like the branches had been bent or something/hinges not the same as the others) Opening the branches was very time consuming(2 hrs) which I did expect to spend on it. Unfortunately, I plug in the 3 sections, and stand back to look at it, and some of the lights were not on in section 2. I check to make sure everything is plugged in, but still strand out. The lights/wires are attached to the branches, unlike when you add on a strand and just kind of wrap it lightly, and I purchased a pre-lit tree, and quite honestly, I expect to have one that works fully for the price. I call Amazon and explain the problem. They can ship out a replacement, but it won't get here for 3 days he says...unfortunately, I had off today & tomorrow for the holiday and had planned to do all of my decorating as I'll be having a party and then going on vacation, but guess I don't have any choice. Now the problem is that I have to spend another 1-2 hrs to close up all the branches again and get it all back in the box to be shipped back...so now that's 3-4 hrs of work on this tree, and a 3 day delay for me(he then suggests maybe contacting the manufacturer and maybe they can send me replacement branches and lights...um, and then what...I cut away the original lights and restring, and how exactly am I supposed to remove the hinged branches and replace them...oh, and all that and still pay the same price as what a perfect one should have been? No thanks, I'd have to be crazy to go through all that...point of getting this tree was to have one I can just plug in and be ready) . I ask if they can have it picked up as this box is quite large and heavy...he says he'll schedule a pick up but they will be coming the next day(Thanksgiving)...but I won't be home as I am going to my sisters for the holiday (and also means I would now have to start packaging it all back up again now, which trust me, I have no desire to do right now after spending 2 hours opening it all up). I find it ironic that my replacement tree, which he made a point of telling me several times was being shipped expedited, can't arrive till Sat (3 days a way, presumably due to the holiday), yet the same UPS can come on the holiday to pick up the defective one. I say that I won't be home Thanksgiving or Friday and can we schedule for Monday and I am told no. It automatically is to be the next day. He says they'll attempt 3 times to get...but I already know I won't be there for the 1st two, and I have to work Mon. I ask if I can have a time window...he says 9a-4p or 9a-5p. The instructions sent to me says an adult must be home/present for the pickup, but he says well just leave it outside with a note on it (and if someone were to steal the package, then what...I'm out $300?) I was put on hold over and over again...it sounded like a call center in India and at this point, I am quite frustrated over the whole situation (which usually, I am thrilled with Amazon and do a ton of shopping with). He makes a point of telling me a couple times how they're replacing it for free (really, I should hope so!), and expediting it (again, I have Prime) and I say...and I'm paying the same amount of money for having been incredibly inconvenienced. Two hours of my time, setting it up...now another 2 hrs probably to get all the branches closed up, and the item packed back in bow good enough to ship back, and now 3 day delay in having my item and they should discount it some, not be like thinking I should be happy that they're replacing it for free. After much issue with that going back and forth, he finally says they'll do 15% (honestly, the $40 is not worth all the hours and delay but this was going no where and I couldn't spend any more time on the line). He says can't I get someone to help me pack it up and get ti to a shipping location when I go to work (uh, no, guess I'm going to have a fun time with that as it's very heavy & I live half an hour each way from the that location), but finally I just say fine, I'll deal with it as I had now been on the phone for 1 hour and 12 minutes!!! He says he'll send me the shipping label for me to use. Email comes, use the link, and it's for a pickup at my house saying I must be home.when they arrive, ugh. Ok, let's try that again(yay, correct one comes, now I just have to spend a ton of time to get this packaged back up, somehow get it out to my car, and drive to UPS. I have never once complained or made an issue about a product ever...usually I am the complete opposite, and I have never written a scathing review, but my patience was tested way too much with this. And btw...my tree does not resemble the pics shown for the product...no where near as full at all.

Realistic-Looking Once You Take the Care to Properly Shape
I got this National Tree Christmas tree to replace another from the same brand that was 15 years old. It falls into the company's "pre-lit" line and not the Power Connect one, the last of which is probably more reliable. (More on that later.) The tree comes in three pieces with branches that fall outward and down when released from their ribbons. While this one is not quite as realistic-looking as my old one, it looks attractive and, from across the room, real now that I've shaped and decorated it. Usually I prefer artificial spruce trees, but I couldn't pass up a sale on this long-needled Carolina Spruce. I knew the company, and I had confidence in it. I love that the white lights are strung along the length of the branches, giving it the proper inside-out glow that gives the tree depth. Each of the three sections plugs into an outlet box so that they light together when the power cord is plugged into an outlet. There's an extra outlet near the top for a lighted tree topper. When you first take it out of the box, expect a straggly looking thing that will make you wonder why you bought it. Don't despair. It needs to be properly shaped for an attractive look. National Tree even provides a link to a video on how to do it that should be helpful for those who've never done it before. At the end of the season, don't expect to be able to fit the tree back in the box it came in. Even pushing the branches back together won't get it compact enough. We use two Christmas tree storage bags so that we don't stress the light strands too much when we store it. You don't want to break a light strand since they are nearly impossible to remove from the tree. I should note that this tree is a secondary tree in my house, and I don't consider it as beautiful as my primary tree on the main floor of my house. That's because I'm particular when it comes to artificial Christmas trees, and I spent a lot to get a first-rate artificial tree. Still, this tree would have made me happy if I hadn't had the other. My main tree (another brand) is 9 feet tall, and its lights connect by merely putting the "trunk" together, which is probably National Tree's "PowerConnect" line. Not only is that more convenient, but also seems to make the light strands less likely to break. The whole reason I replaced my old National Tree spruce is because the lights eventually stopped working, and I got tired of hanging separate strands on it every year. You might want to investigate National Tree's PowerConnect line if you want the added convenience. Based on my past experience with a tree from this company, this Carolina Pine should last 8-10 years, possibly longer. The tree holds up fine. It's the pre-lit portion that fails. It comes with replacement bulbs for those that burn out, but if a strand breaks on the inside, you'll be out of luck. Mine burned out in sections after it was decorated, suggesting that a possible power surge blew it. You might want to use a surge protector to lengthen its life. Whatever the selling price, compare the cost of this tree to buying real ones every year. You'll likely discover that this will pay for itself in 5 years or less. Add in the convenience of being able to put up your tree whenever you want, and I find it a no-brainer. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Quick delivery. The tree is beautiful. I have put off a artificial tree as I didn’t care for them, this one is really nice; with or without decorations.
