What is Shamanism? Here's A Quick Overview.
I knew very little about Shamanism, but started this book with a basic understanding. This book reads like a cross between an informative and persuasive essay, which allows you to get a solid grip of the Shamanism basics. You will hear about the history, current practices, beliefs and more. I did find it highly repetitive at times, but it is a short book overall. At some level, I think most of us can connect to some of these principles in the forms of being surrounded by nature, practicing yoga or meditation, reciting positive mantras, feeling a connection to animals, and more. Other principles or practices may not resonate with all of us. Overall, I find learning about other cultures and belief systems fascinating!
