Cool and retro.
Great little gadget for the price. It works great and is pretty fast for a remote control. Good value for the money.

Fun for older folks too
This RC bus is so cute and fun! I bought it to play with my grandson. It makes sounds, has lights, and has held up well. I've crashed it a few times and nothing has broken. Love it!

Fairly sturdy. Slower pace is best.
This is a fun little car. It is definitely different and you don’t loose track of it when there are multiple cars in use. It has a nice range on the remote. It is a little prone to falling on its side if you get the speed up high. I think this could be fixed by adding some weights. ( I was told this by a person that is really into rc cars). I’m not positive about the weight or placement. I just take it slower or go set it upright. I think it is fun.

Très cool. Bonne vitesse de l'appareil. Sons mieux qu'attendu.

Having devoted more than three decades of his life to the intricate world of automotive mechanics, my father's unwavering passion for Volkswagen is nothing short of legendary. Throughout the years, he has tinkered with countless cars and buses, establishing himself not only as a skilled mechanic but also as a devoted collector of Volkswagen Westfalias and Beetles. In a whimsical twist of fate, I decided to surprise him with a unique and lighthearted gift—a miniature version of his beloved Volkswagen van. The carefully curated box contained not just the replica VW van, but also a remote control, two rechargeable 3.7v batteries to power the van, a USB charger cable with an adaptor (sans power block), and a comprehensive manual for a seamless experience. Operating the remote is a breeze, requiring only two AA batteries (which, regrettably, are not included). The left button initiates the van's start-up engine sounds, setting the stage for the controllers to govern its movements—forward, backward, left, and right. Engaging forward motion results in realistic driving noises, while coming to a halt prompts authentic idling sounds. Reverse, and the van emits a distinctive beep. Pressing the start/stop button again introduces a touch of realism, as the van momentarily chokes before gracefully shutting down. On the right side of the remote, a honking horn sound is activated, with a long press serving as a convenient switch-off for idling and driving sounds. Lastly, the middle button unleashes the demo mode, urging users to ensure ample space for the van's autonomous movements. Remarkably nimble and snappy for a toy, this miniature marvel surprises with its quick responsiveness and a steering system that boasts impressive accuracy. A centering lever located on the car's bottom ensures alignment issues are swiftly corrected, adding a thoughtful touch to its design. While it may not boast impeccable build quality, its affordable price tag is justified by the plethora of features it packs. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this remote-controlled car for its sheer entertainment value. Whether you're shopping for a budding R/C car enthusiast or seeking to amuse an established collector of vintage automobiles, this Volkswagen replica promises hours of joy and a playful nod to the automotive legacy your loved one holds dear.
