Perfect size for my board. Great way to teach numerology to my first graders. I can use them for whole class or small group instruction.

I got this for my son's teacher for Christmas. She was only able to use it once before Christmas, but she loved it. She uses it for remediation with pairs since only one student can use it at a time. However, that actually increases the value of it-there are times a student needs to focus and try to problem solve. This is perfect for that-and she can give it to a student who gets done early. You have to modify the instructions for this and let the student know how to use it individually, but it can be done. This is a great choice to help with math.

This review was written by my wife who is a college professor for preservice elementary school teachers. These magnetic number bond sets are wonderful for demonstrating to a whole class with part-part-whole relationships. I like the colors of the shapes, the inclusion of number magnets, and the magnetic circles used to model the numbers. It allows students to see and use several different representations for modeling. Since they are used on the magnetic whiteboard, I can also draw on the board within the number bonds. My students also really enjoy getting to come to the board to model number bonds. I highly recommend this for the classroom!

We picked these up to give our daughter some extra practice with number bonds at home. These stick well to our refrigerator and are soft, so when the pieces inevitably end up on our kitchen floor, they don't hurt to step on. These are a great supplemental tool, but I can see them easily being used in a classroom for instructional purposes as well. These would be a great addition to a teacher's wish list.

These are perfect for young learners. Not fancy, or hard to read. Sticks on the surface very well and will go a long way in instructing a preschooler.

Not all mathematics curricula emphasize the importance of number bonds, but for those that do, this visual and kinesthetic pairing is vitally important. What this set helps with is cementing the neurological pathways in the brain between numbers and how their hands move them into the right place. It's this use of hand movements that greatly helps with understanding, versus just doing the same on paper.Quality of the product is excellent. A good product to have for young math learners.
