Fun for kids challenge
I did not taste these but we used them as part of a birthday challenge for my 13 year old grandson. It was fun and they said they tasted crunchy and salty.

Interesting flavors
I bought these as a sort of gag gift for a friend's birthday. These tasted better than I expected to be honest! There is a noticeable earthy aftertaste, but it's not bad/disgusting. These are a small and chocolate forward way to do something interesting and weird to try!

Surprisingly tasty but a little expensive
I'm a teacher and bought these as an extension/object lesson for my students. We all agreed the taste was better than we expected. We thought they would be full crickets dipped in chocolate, but they were actually parts of crickets rolled with amaranth seeds and a dull chocolate. The chocolate is also not overly sweet. Overall, we enjoyed it as fun snack. It feels like a fairly steep price for a one serving snack.

Good taste!
My kids school requested these for the kids to try new foods. My daughter asked me to buy more so I guess she liked them!

Product image misleading
I'm not giving the product 5 stars because the image in the listing does not depict the contents of the package. In the image, you see chocolate covered something that looks like crickets. In reality, you get chocolate covered something that's round. Could be crickets ground up and formed into little balls but I don't know because not shaped like they are in the image and I don't know what crickets taste like. The product had an earthy taste so probably a bug and likely a cricket. Anyways, if you don't mind product misrepresentation then I recommend it to those who want a buggy tasting chocolate

Good Snack!
The flavor of these snacks is primarily dark chocolate and the crickets are not whole, which makes it a good introduction to entomophagia (eating insects). I'm not a big fan of dark chocolate, so I didn't like them as much as I had hoped, but I did manage to convince some friends to try them at a white elephant party. The flavor is not at all offensive, and the texture is fine. They come across as a gourmet snack, given the good ingredients and the price. If you like dark chocolate and you're looking to experience the "gateway bug," definitely give these a try!

Would buy again
Got these as kind of a gross joke for our kid. They were actually surprisingly tasty, which I wasn’t expecting for crickets. He really had fun eating them.

Not good value
I give these 10/10 on taste. In fact, they’re delicious. But these are not priced correctly for the value. Unknowingly, I paid $10 for what turned out to be one tiny bag (see attached in the photo) - the bag being smaller than my palm. There may have been 8 or 9 little bites in the package. For $10! That’s more than a dollar per bite. Would love to buy again but these are worth $3 per bag at best.
