I don’t usually write reviews, but this one’s worth it, the product is excellent and super thin!

Very good quality keyboard protector for your MacBook 14 M1 Pro

Good product and does what it says. It is thin and barely noticeable, but It makes the keyboard a little mushier. The plastic itself is really thin, but where each key has 4 vertical edges (the sides of each key) it means that if you don’t click the key directly in the centre you’re smushing down this slightly firm edge plastic. Not a deal breaker but it does reduce how nice the MacBook Keyboard is. I happily still use it but would be nice for it to be evennnnn thinner.

The cover fits perfectly, and feels like it will last a long time. I particularly appreciate the careful guidance the makers provide to ensure that you get the right size and shape that suits your model of MacBook (*). Also, that the cover is packaged without being folded in half– no 'settling-in time' required as there was with my last one. In fact, the packaging is stylish and the whole thing an absolute bargain. (*) Like every other maker, the model numbering system uses a code beginning with an 'A'. Apple for some reason use a different system under Hardware/Hardware Overview/Model Identifier... Go figure. But you can find the A-code you need on the back of your MacBook, in tiny writing under the keyboard along the bottom edge.

Really good, although it says it’s transparent it’s actually translucent (so matte texture) which doesn’t attract dust to stick on it. The keys also look really clear after putting it on. For typing, you need a bit of extra force to press in but that’s normal and expected and I think it’s totally acceptable. Really great product. Recommended.

Slim thin and works well

The cover sticks low to the keyboard so you can close the lid without it touching the screen. It is see through so the backlit keys work. It is firm and precision moulded so it drops into the keys gaps/spaces fine and doesn't squish about. Honestly it is as if Apple themselves made this as a part that can be user serviced and replaced as needed. The other floppy rubber/gel ones for sale are thick, don't seat down well between the keys so they move and they leave prints on the screen when the lid is closed too. When this thing is fitted you wouldn't know it is even there.

I had no idea there were better quality keyboard covers. The last silicone cover I had was more rubbery and flexible and I liked it, but it was the second one I had to buy in a year. A few weeks ago I was typing and kept noticing that my fingernail tips kept getting green. I hit Google certain that I had some weird fungus that only affect the tips of my nails. I cracked up laughing when I realized days later (and after using fungus treatment on my nails) that it was the color coming off my keyboard cover. I was through and searched for something better. This keyboard cover is clearly meant to last. I can feel the difference in quality as I'm typing right now. If you're used to the other silicone keyboard covers, you'll have to give this one a little more time to "mesh" with the keyboard. It's not flimsy, but it's not as "gummy" (I don't know what other word to use) as the other cheaper quality ones and may slide a little at first. Once it has warmed up and melds it remains someone stiff but that's where you can tell it's going to last. It's just wonderful. I'd like to say I'll support them in the future, but the way this think is made, I don't think I'll be back soon. If you know someone who has a MacBook, like a student, this would be a perfect gift. A MacBook is an investment and keeping it clean matters. I wish I'd had this one first for my MacBook Pro and not have wasted money buying the others first. But that's how we learn, right? Just buy it. You will not be disappointed. I love mine!

Ich habe schon einige Tastaturabdeckungen ausprobiert, aber diese hier gehört definitiv zu den besser verarbeiteten. Die Passform ist wirklich beeindruckend präzise – sie sitzt exakt auf jeder einzelnen Taste, ohne zu verrutschen oder Blasen zu werfen. Auch beim Tippen spürt man keinen störenden Widerstand oder klebriges Gefühl, was bei vielen günstigen Folien leider oft der Fall ist. Was mir allerdings nicht ganz so gut gefällt, ist die Rauchglas-Optik. Sie sieht zwar hochwertig aus und gibt dem MacBook ein etwas edleres Erscheinungsbild, aber sie ist für meinen Geschmack einen Tick zu dunkel geraten. Ohne Hintergrundbeleuchtung wirken die Buchstaben dadurch spürbar gedämpft und sind in schwachem Licht schwerer zu erkennen. Sobald man jedoch die Tastaturbeleuchtung einschaltet, fällt dieser Nachteil kaum noch ins Gewicht. Insgesamt bin ich trotzdem sehr zufrieden: Die Qualität stimmt, die Abdeckung sitzt perfekt und schützt zuverlässig vor Staub und Krümeln. Wer eine dunklere Optik mag oder ohnehin meist mit Beleuchtung arbeitet, bekommt hier ein wirklich gelungenes Produkt. ⸻ Wenn du willst, kann ich dir noch eine Variante mit leicht anderem Ton (lockerer, technischer, nüchterner, humorvoller – je nach Stil) erstellen.
