ProSeal 80046 Silicone Instant Gasket, Black

Works like sealant, but is easily removed and reaffixed in the future, acting more like a traditional rubber gasket. Used to seal around some badly fitting lights on a vehicle which was causing water ingress, sealed perfectly with very little used, since found all sort of other applications for this around the home. Great product.

It works well. The bottom of the tube burst whilst squeezing (we read the reviews so knew to be extra careful squeezing, still didn't help). Luckily only needed to to glue 1 thing. Scraped glue out from the bottom. It's glued well with no issues so far. Easy to use. Just what we needed.

third time is the charm, had tried with two other tappet cover gaskets on 2005 meriva with a warped tappet cover, then got a better South African made one and purchased this sealant... If you're not used to silicone sealant that is heat resistant you won't know to make the hole a bit bigger, it's hard to get the sealant out of a 3mm hole but once you angle the cut it's easier, gave it time to cure in the hour stated, zero leaks. Worked as per the instructions.

Great stuff. Used on a Rocker cover along with a new rubber seal as wasn't quite able to get a good seal with rubber moulded seal alone due to slight variations in cover due to age. Followed instructions, cleaned surfaces and applied a bead on both surfaces with rubber seal in between. Tightened bolts untill sealant started to squish out and left for 1 hour. Went back for final tighten and has been absolutely fine. No leaks.

Very thick, and difficult to use. Was this old stock, solidifying?

Found this via a US site for a similar product. Delaminating rubber soles on a favourite pair of hiking shoes - tried three different contact adhesives - none worked. This product was easy to use and has done the job brilliantly- no more flappy soles and a perfectly good pair of shoes rescued from the bin !

es muy práctico como sellador tipo silicona, el pero es que la cánula no la podrás reutilizar muy. aun así muy buen producto.

très bon produit, le rapport qualité prix est bien. ce qui est moins pratique c'est le tube, genre tube de dentifrice , il faut faire en sorte d'avoir assez de produit près de la tête du tube pour que le produit sorte de manière continu quand on presse le tube, pensez aussi a l'embout blanc qui retient le produit, perso je l'ai enlever et ça a été.

L'ho usata diverse volte questo è il secondo tubetto. Per formare guarnizioni motori ottima, l'ho usata anche per il vetro della stufa a legna per fissare la guarnizione del vetro.
