This is such a good product! I use it for help to calm nervous system & sleep. I’ve been very impressed with it. It tastes great. You can mix with water or just put on tongue. High quality ingredients and great value sized bag.

This is a remarkably effective supplement for addressing sleep maintenance issues. I use it every night in conjunction with the antihypertensive drug prazosin. I’ve found that one milligram of prazosin and three grams of glycine to be almost as effective as one benzodiazepine equivalent in both initiating sleep and maintaining it. I received the product yesterday. Shipping time was very fast even without expedited shipping, and the packaging is outstanding. Three grams of glycine is now a permanent addition to my daily stack, and at a cost of six cents a day, Bulk Supplements’ price can’t be matched. I intend to purchase their product for as long as the company remains in existence.

This product is great and I feel like it was made an improvement on my joints. The only problem I’ve had is that after a few months the seal on the bag separated from the edge of the bag so when you go to close and seal the bag, the seal closes but since it’s no longer attached to the bag wall this does nothing to actually close the bag. After this happened I poured the remaining contents into a plastic Tupperware container and tossed the bag. I also found the suggested dosage to be a little confusing and am not sure if I should be taking only 1/5 teaspoon, or 1 + 1/5 teaspoon daily as it was written simply as 1 1/5 teaspoon. The really great thing about this product is that you can’t taste it! So many powders claim to be tasteless but just ruin whatever you’re eating/drinking and you end up in a situation where you have to force yourself to consume the unpleasant concoction frequently because you need the supplement, but I’ve noticed no taste difference in my plain water or my water with the glycine!

I bought this to aid my troubled sleep but unfortunately it did not help. I already consume a fair amount of gelatin each day and did not really have reason to expect this would work much differently but my hope was this single amino acid taken alone wouldn't have to compete for digestion with the other aminos found in gelatin and might behave in a different fashion. For me, it ended up being slightly stimulating and not relaxing or sedating. I was not able to sleep at all the night I tried it. So I now have about 997 grams of glycine that I'm not sure how to use (did the typical 3 gram dose before bed). Maybe I'll gift it to somebody else trying to improve their sleep.Shortly after trying this I discovered that glycine may deplete tryptophan and I have since had somewhat better luck supplementing that amino acid. It's not a perfect sleep aid but it does actually help me in both inducing sleep and staying asleep. I am also seeing some benefit from led light therapy as well.So, although I did not get the desired effect from this supplement, I have no doubt it's of good quality. I've purchased several other supps from Bulk Supplements and they were all fine. Always a great price point as well. This one just didn't work out for me.
