St. Ives Scrub Coconut & Coffee Energizing 6 Ounce

If you don’t love the smell of fresh coffee beans grinding, then probably shouldn’t get this. If you do, you are going to love the smell alone!!! Skin feels clean and really smooth, too!

Apparently, the fragrance was so fantastic, my 32yo daughter could not resist quietly swiping my then-new-ish tube while visiting for a couple months. She’s fairly particular about such products, is into aromas, has a history of mild eczema/allergic dermatitis—but usually swipes my tea bags (I have way too many; she’s pragmatic about her swiping), not my bath products. I’ve used highly-praised StIves apricot for eons, sometimes high-end micro-exfoliants. I can use this coconut coffee one on my face, but for my increasingly-delicate aging skin, it’s a bit rough—rougher than apricot or rose StIves. (FYI Some dermatologists advise against physical exfoliants for face, preferring quality chemical exfoliants instead. 2nd fyi: that’s generally much more expensive.) I know some of my senior friends would find this coconut-coffee too coarse for their faces. If my daughter decides to ever return my tube (doubt), I’d use for my body since I’ve since replaced with StIves rose and apricot. Coconut-coffee coarseness would be perfect for my dry aging heels! (FYI theoretically, yellow jackets and mosquitoes are much more drawn to scents of rose and apricot than coconut and coffee.) I’m aware that the soft plastic tubes more likely generate microplastics into product (unsure re: environment) than the jar (plastic #5, non-recyclable but relatively more inert). Hats off to StIves for generations of quality product, recognized as tops by Allure in some recent years, at affordable prices. Love that! 🙏🏽

Love this scrub, really digs the crud out of your pores and the coffee smell is invigorating! Probably too abrasive for winter, though. You'll love it in the summer when you're sweaty!

This coconut coffee scrub is my number one fav face scrub. I could no longer find it in person and was so pleased it was available on Amazon. It smells and feels divine.

Good exfoliating scrub. Always used green tea scrub of theirs but can’t find it. Decided to try this and it’s great in the morning. Coffe smell awakens the senses.

I exfoliante everyday when I'm in the shower. I love it because it's not toooo rough, it's just right. My skin is always nice and smooth.

This is a great product. Smell is so good that I feel like eating it. And like rests of the st. Ives scrubs result is very refreshing. Even if you scrub for 2 minutes and wipe/wash away still skin gets cleaner and fresh look.

I have used the original apricot facial scrub for years, but couldn't find it in stock this time, so I tried this version, which I hadn't seen before. It smells divine, has a similar consistency and texture, and it works really well. I am used to this type of exfoliator, and I love it, but it may feel a bit coarse for some. I have normal to dry skin, and I use it on average once a week.
