Super cute axolotl. My 6 year old son absolutely loves his rare blue axolotl. Its soft and looks just like a minecraft axolotl he says. The design thing on the top they feel like I could just rip it off with enough force. But I tried it to see and it didn't come off so thats well done and good quality.

Fine product. It is super soft, lightweight and seems durable. However, even after keeping it out for a couple days it is still pretty flat and looks strange. I’m sure the vacuum wrapping makes storage and shipping easy but also impedes the appearance of the axolotl.

This product is cute, but requires quite a bit of fluffing up as it came packaged in a small vacuum pack. I almost accidentally threw it away because I had ordered a few things and didn't notice it at the bottom of the box. I was expecting it to have been packaged differently. One trip through the dryer should be sufficient, but we snuggled it and tossed it around for a while. After all that, the stuffing still feels a bit lumpy, but surprising thick for having been packaged the way it was. The stuffie is not very tall, and it's body angles down so it doesn't sit flat when laid on a table. The measurement of the top of the body is 4 1/2 inches from the neck to the rear. The bottom of the body measures 4 inches. Did they run out of material? It just seems like an unusual design choice. The body seems quite small compared to the head. It doesn't sit up either as the arms and legs are very flimsy and have little stuffing in them. The tail is not stuffed. The felt "whiskers" around the face are thin and show a lot of creases. The "fingers" and "toes" are made of this same felt fabric. The fabric of the majority of the head, the body, and tail is soft and the sewn parts appear to have been done well enough that I doubt this will come apart at any seams. We like the detail on the tail and the shiny stitching. The color is a nice sky blue with darker blue details. Although the price is a bit high, my daughter is happy with her Axolotl overall. "He's just a bit silly though."
