Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer

I'd been meaning to buy one of these gadgets for a while after getting my dad one from another brand that did a good job but tended to spill small amounts of wine when used. This one is great! Really simply to use, since you just combined the pieces (if you're storing it in its case) and stick it in the neck of the wine you're about to pour. When you do, you get a lovely tasting wine - I've done side by side tasting with two glasses, one with and one without the aerator, and it's like drinking two entirely different wines. This brings it all the fruit and really opens up the wine when it's not been opened long enough to breathe (a mistake I make fairly frequently). It also cleans easily enough, I sometimes use a pipe cleaner to make sure on the narrow parts. And one of the best things about Vintorio? I managed to lose the small rubber ring that seals between the two main parts, contacted them and they sent me a new one! Very polite and quick to respond. Wonderful!

I bought the product in 2020 and absolutely love how it enhanced the flavour of my favourite red zinfandel. Last week, I lost the airpipe so I tried to purchase a replacement online. Seeing no such option, I contacted the seller to see if I can purchase the airpipe from them. To my pleasant surprise, they said they'll just send a whole new product over! The delivery was within 2 days but the package got damaged during transit so it got sent back before I could even see it. I contacted the seller to see the delivery notes and they sent another one out. It arrived within 2 days! I'm not one to write reviews but when there's exceptional customer service, I have to highlight it as this has become a rare occurrence. As for the quality of the product, the fact that I wanted to purchase a replacement air pipe says it all.

You can tell the difference when using this but the item has already developed a fault. It is leaking where the clear plastic joins the black plastic, with other reviewers reporting the same problem it would seem there's a design/material flaw. Originally left a 1 star review but the company has been in touch and issued a replacement which is performing much better. Can't fault their customer service. The new pourer has 2 arrows that line up on the clear & black plastic parts, there's also the word 'Lock' on the black plastic to emphasise that the 2 pieces are correctly aligned. The new pourer is stiffer at the join, so there's more turning effort required to separate the parts and so far over Christmas & New Year there's been no more leaking. Fingers crossed it stays that way because the product does a good job of aerating the wine. Consequently I'm upping my review to 4 stars.

I have been using a decanter for red wine for years, then I saw this and thought, why not, I'll give it a try. It is superb! In a matter of the time to pour, you have a perfect tasting glass of wine, no waiting. Even my girlfriend, who doesn't like red wine, noticed the difference. I had seen the reviews on here about the screw cap bottles being too large, that is true, but the way around that, is by putting a rubber band around the seal, then putting it the bottle (see pic) which works a treat and sorted it out for me. They are made for Cork bottles (very hoy palloy hehe) which is the other pic in a cork bottle. I can recommend to any wine lovers.

I bought one of these a year ago and it is brilliant. My partner was a bit sceptical at first but a blind tasting changed all that and she now won't pour a bottle of red without it. I have seen comments here about leaks and not fitting screw-cap bottles but we drink a lot of Australian wine (Yellowtail Shiraz etc.) and it fits them perfectly. I have not yet found a bottle it didn't fit. On the leak front, you need to make sure that the little clear O-ring type seal is properly fitted to the pourer. There is an instruction on the inside of the lid that shows exactly how it should be fitted. It is possible to not realise it's in the wrong place, especially if it comes loose when you are cleaning the aerator. It can be a bit fiddly to get it in the right groove but once you get the knack it's pretty simple. I've just ordered another two as my first one developed a crack in the pourer when it accidentally got dropped and trodden on!

Received this as a gift and I'll admit I was dubious as to its claims. However, it works. First used it in a £15 bottle of Bordeaux and we could drink the wine straight after opening, no need to let it breathe. So for an experiment tried it on a £7 bottle of Merlot. My goodness the improvement was astonishing. It seems that the wine ponces have been right all along, you need to air the wine. Using this contraption means no fussing about with doing it. Highly recommend.

Great for aerating red wine when it fits the necks of the bottles. We’ve found a LOT IT DOESN’T FIT, and thus is not fit for purpose. The bit that slots into the bottle neck is straight rather than graduated/sloped, which means it fits one size and one size only. Thus makes it an incredibly expensive yet useless piece of equipment. Such a shame and a huge oversight on the design side of things.

The perfect product when you are on the move and feel like having a bottle of red. It works great and definitely helps to enhance your wine experience. Also, cleaning is a breeze.

Dieser Weinbelüfter tut, was er soll. Beim Einschenken durch diesen wird der Wein merklich belüftet, was besonders bei jüngeren Rotweinen zu einer Verbesserung des Aromas führt. Der Wein wirkt weicher und die Aromen kommen etwas besser zur Geltung. Die Handhabung ist einfach und unkompliziert. Der Artikel lässt sich leicht auf die Flasche aufsetzen und das Einschenken funktioniert problemlos. Die Verarbeitung wirkt solide und langlebig.
