This is my second razor by this company. It holds the battery charge for a long time and does a great job as a beard shaver and sideburn trimmer. It’s easy to clean and just works well. It’s also relatively inexpensive. The quality is excellent and I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive but high quality beard shaver! Highly recommended!

Not gonna lie, I bought this PRITECH bald shaver on a whim and didn’t expect much, but it’s actually great. I use it mainly for my head and clean-up on the sides of my face. I run the trimmer part first to knock the hair down, then go in with the foil head and it gets everything super smooth without biting or burning my skin. The 3 speeds are nice – I keep it on the middle setting most of the time and only crank it up if I’ve waited a few days between shaves. The LED screen and travel lock are small things but really handy, and charging it with a regular USB cable is way easier than dealing with some weird proprietary charger. One full charge easily lasts me multiple shaves. It’s not huge or heavy, feels solid in the hand, and it’s easy to pop the head off and rinse it. For this price, I honestly don’t have any complaints. If you shave your head regularly and want something simple that just works, this little guy is absolutely worth it.

Update, August 1, 2023: I shaved with this shaver a couple hours ago and got a very good close shave. I had to be careful as to how I held the unit in my hands so as not to inadvertently press the speed setting buttons and change the motor speed without intending to do so, but that can be fixed easily. The reason for the update is an item listing a 2-pack set of replacement foil and cutter plus charging cable for this Pritech RSM-1699 shaver for $40 dollars. The item entry said it would be released on December 21, 2023. I was not sure if I would be charged immediately, so I added it to cart and moved it to "saved for later". Today, August 1, I see that this item is: "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if it will be back in stock." Is this seller, Pomei, trying to drive customers away? I can still buy, on Amazon, from 3 different sellers, replacement foil and cutter packs for my Braun 6520 Flex Integral Ultra Speed shaver which has been out of Braun's current product line for about 20 years. If these Chinese sellers, in this case, Senzhou Pritech, won't to compete seriously in this market, they need to make replacement foils and cutters readily available, preferrably here on Amazon where they sell the shaver. I bought the shaver twice, once for $19.99 plus sales tax, and again for the same price minus the amount of a $6.00 coupon. Assuming the $40 cost for the replacement parts includes two sets of foils and cutters, that is still more than the cost of the two shavers I bought. If this product has foil and cutter curability similar to those of Remington, Wahl, or Andis models, most people might go through somewhere between two to six foils for each pair of cutter bars. Come on, Pritech! Fix this issue. Sell us those foils and cutters. And while you are at it, let us know if the battery is a standard 18650 battery, so we can think about replacing that, too. Original post: Having wasted money on a number of sub-$30 shavers, including some by name-brand manufacturers, I didn't expect much from a Chinese brand I never heard of, especially for about $22 and some change. It came well protected in a solid little box; included the shaver, a USB C-to-A short cable, a protective cap that actually stays attached, and a cleaning brush. This shaver is surprisingly large and heavy, similar in length and width to my 20-year-old Braun 6520 Flex Integral Ultra shaver, but half again thicker front to back. It has a feature set you normally don't get unless you spend over a hundred dollars from the big-name guys: Water resistant; fast charging, long run time on a battery, display showing battery usage ane and charge remaining listed in percentage. The slide up trimmer is the foils, and is angled toward the foils so you can actually use in at the same time as the foils, like you can with the old Braun Flex Integral models, but not with the newer Braun series 5, through 9 shavers. Turning the shaver on defaults to the middle of three user-selectable motor speeds, and there is significant difference from one speed to the next. I like the way each cutter is mounted on its own independent drive shaft. Foils are angled so you can use either one or both, allowing me to get all the way up to and under my long nose. It's a rather fat and chunky little box, perfect for my big hand. Even on the high speed, the saver is surprisingly quiet, especially for its power. Another feature I forgot is the 3-second hold to lock the power button for travel. Now for the really good stuff: How does it shave? I have a very thick, coarse, fast-growing beard. I can not get a "baby butt smooth" (BBS) shave, even with blades and cream, including double-edge blades and straight razors. The last time a professional barber got me that kind of shave with the full-on old-fashioned hot lather and towel treatment was at least 35 years ago. Using the trimmer and foils on medium speed first half of a shave, and foils alone and high speed the rest of the way, I get a shave that easily rivals what I get from my Braun series 5-5030S Model 4 that I bought in 2017 for just under $100 at a discount from the usual-suspect seller (LOL). So, why only 4 stars instead of 5 and wishing I could give it more? I have not yet had a need to deal with Pritec's customer service, and I have not yet been able to find out if we can get replacement cutters, and especially foils. If I could get two sets of cutters and four or more replacement foils, I think I would absolutely love this shaver. And if its reliability holds up long term, like maybe three years or more, this buy is a no-brainer. It might even be a good deal if you have to replace the shaver soon for lack of replacement cutters, and especially foils, but I don't like the idea of throwing away perfectly good machines. That's why I still like my 20-year-old Braun 6520, since you can still buy foil/cutter parts, and it still runs on the origianl battery. Oh, and this Pritec shaver, even though it is wet and dry shave, can run while plugged in, a major advantage in my opinion; same as my older two Braun models I already mentioned. Now, if somebody from Pritec is watching this, since yhou have been doing this for 15 years, How about offering us replacement parts!!! People complain about how long foils don't last. That's because I think most of them think they need to press the shaver against the face. You don't need to apply any more pressure than necessary for a light contact with the skin with any foil shaver. One final word: Amazonsells nice rigid cases that can easily hold this shaver, the brush, the USB power cable, and a USB wall adapter with fold-away prongs. There are some other slightly more expensive Chiese brand shavers that might be somewhat similar in design to the one reviewing here, so maybe somebody have foils and cutters that fit?

I had to return this shaver. The shape is awkward to hold and it is hard to reach the areas around my beard while seeing what I am cutting. It is the most awkward shaver I have had in my hands in a long time. From the good side, the foil blades are sharp and shave very close to the skin. The popup trimmer works, but the grip and visibility kept getting in the way for me. Maybe this is not for me and someone else may like it. I just want to voice my opinion because I did not see many reviews mention the handling and sight lines.

This is a great electric shaver. Light weight and fits in your hand with ease. The travel lock is great. Speed selection is great. Easy to clean. Pop up shaver is superb and doesn't irritate your skin, great for shaving down long hair before performing your close shave. The foil shaver is comfortable and leaves your face smooth like butter. No burning sensation or razor bumps after the shave. I didn't even have to apply razor bump gel afterwards. I only used some Mary Kay men's shaving cream before the initial shave. Battery life is superb and the built in battery charges pretty fast. The digital display which shows the speed setting and the battery life is a nice addition. The foil cover is solid for keeping your foil shaver head protected during storage or travel. I plan to buy a second unit as a backup for whenever this unit eventually stops working, but hopefully that won't be for a long time.

Absolutely loved this at first.. It left my face smooth and clean with no irritation, shaving close and gettin even just a night's growth of stubble. Perfect for gals with unwanted, unasked for facial/neck hair. Allowing me to feel confident and hair free without having to use a razor everyday and ending up with a five o'clock shadow 'n prickly face. The battery lasted for about a week n few days give or take before needing charged, it charges fast, quality was good felt comfortable when handling, didn't cut, flowed with the contours of the face and neck, traveled great, easy to clean and at an affordable price. However after a yr 'n half of almost every day use the foil top and the blades are worn down and causing a lot of irritation, which wouldn't be a problem as they sell replacement parts, however they've been out of stock for months and I don't know if or when they'll be restocked So very sadly I had to purchase another foil shaver from a brand that regularly has restocks of extra parts Overall a great stubble shaver but

Très bon rasoir pour le prix, un peu déçu car je ne m'attendais pas à ce qu'il soit en plastique. Il rase bien mais parfois le rasoir arrache des poils, ce qui est assez désagréable. Le clipper est excellent, à double lame cela fonctionne très bien. La batterie tient très longtemps, je l'utilise au quotidien car c'est très pratique !
