A great camera and lens ... and a cheaper way to buy both it and lens.
I am graduating from 2 Canon 60D bodies and a number of lenses - many Tamron, because I needed to downsize with my advancing age and ability to carry it all.I just finished my first 2 weeks trip with these and I am very satisfied with the results. My only negative is that the camera has TOO MANY features. I have read the 500pg manual 5 times all ready and I learn more each time, but still not there. The Tamron lens is not quite as wide angle as my Canon version of 16-300, (is is 18-300), but it seems to be of better quality that the Canon one. Perhaps improvement over the 5 years or so.The edge look somewhat better in focus and it "claims" to be fairly water/dust resistant. I luckily have not had to "test" that feature. But it does seem quite tightly made.Very happy with my purchase.(Oh, and why did I change from Canon? I bought my wife a Sony RX100M6 a couple of years ago and I have been flabbergasted with its quality!)As for the junk they have to include in the "package deal" - it is the usual cheap Asian stuff that most went to the landfill. But it was still the lowest price way to buy it (go figure...).

Amazing, great camera, easy to use, lots of lens.
Wanted to upgrade from lower end point & shoot. The latest alpha from Sony. Feels great in hand, love viewfinder. Excellent 4K video. Got a great macro lens. Very happy. I've owned many cameras, this is a great one.
