I got this for my bedroom so I have a clock on my side table. The display gets very bright also.

Beautiful, but wanted a battery-operated clock that stayed on!
This is such a beautiful clock, but does not show the time constantly. It has to be plugged in to do so. I should have read the discription closer, but it's a silly feature to have and negates my whole reason for buying a battery-operated digital clock in the first place.
