Holds my keys without fail. A quick detach in the center would be nice but it's great for what it is.

I have several things that I like to keep on my key ring — a small Swiss army knife, a multi tool, a golf tool, etc. The problem was always having to take the items off the key ring to really use them effectively, and then breaking fingernails trying to open the keyring and slide things off, etc. This solves the problem! I can now just attach these quick release rings to the keyring, and whenever I want to use a certain thing, I can just easily take it off. I also use one for my car key fob so that I can take it off quickly for valet, car washes, etc. Genius. High grade, precision engineered little pieces of magic. ;-)

Update: the clips have a tendency to open on their own so pay attention to themI just needed something for my quietcomfort bud case and it's been hard to find something flexible so it doesn't break on my belt. Looks like i finally found it. It's not too hard to learn how to use the clip.

About a year ago, I got rid of my traditional wallet and got a smaller and much lighter weight zipper bag that holds my cards. The card wallet has two loops on either side. I have attached my key fob to it. When it was just attached with a normal key ring, the key would twist and turn in my pocket and wind the loop, putting stress on it. I was afraid it would eventually tear off. This swivel connector has resolved the issue. I think my wallet will last much longer as a result.

It definitely has a cool factor, though after having it for a while, the flaws kick in. The biggest one for me was, having the keys in my pocket, the keys naturally moving around and the clasp unlocking on its own. This will lead to lost keys. Back to a secure ring.
