Bought two as my daughter is now a portable nightmare!One of the gates shutting mechanisms was broken, however, an exchange was sent the next day! The gates fit perfectly and are easy for the big people to use, it baffles the little person into a frustrated frenzy, but withstands the shaking, beating, kicking and screaming of an annoyed 16 month old!It can cope with wooden blocks and dolls being hurled at it, and being rammed with a toy pram is no problem! It is sturdy and hard wearing, and offers good support when being clung onto for dear life. The vertical bars also prevent climbing and are just wide enough so that little limbs don't get stuck, but narrow enough to prevent a head from being poked through. It also doubles as a rather noisy instrument, which provides hours of fun for everyone!A good buy for a cheap price. Thank you.

This is a very good product. It is very well constructed out of heavy duty steel coated in white. The mechanism for latching the door is excellent and there is the ability to slide out a small stop on the appropriate side of the bottom of the gate to secure the bottom of the door as well. The frame is held in position by four threaded posts that expand from the frame to width of your stair posts. The end of each threaded post has a rubber disk that ensures it does not slide. In addition there are four cups in the box that can be screwed to provide even more security to the fixing posts. I did not need to attach the cups as it seems very secure to me. The purpose of this gate is to prevent my small dog from going upstairs. It looks good, is very reasonably priced and well made. Fitting took me six minutes from unpacking to the dog looking miserable.

Lightweight enough for carrying/moving around, but definitely sturdy enough to do the job properly. Easy to fit to the door frame. The variable sliding locking clips at the bottom of the gate allow you to choose which way it opens if you don't want it swinging in either direction (makes the closing sturdier if you choose one direction only.) Opening & closing mechanism at the top is easy for an adult to use one handed.The only downsides for me were:1. I thought this had no floor bar (which I specifically wanted having badly injured myself previously tripping over the footplate of my older baby-gate a few years ago & ending up in A+E for a few too many Xrays & stitches for my liking!) This DOES have a floor bar, although it's certainly lower than my other one. The fact it's white also helps it stand out against my floor colour (unlike my older one which is too well camouflaged for the person in a hurry!!)2. The spanner which comes with the gate doesn't fit the nut mechanism for altering the fit & keeps sliding off which is really annoying. I chucked it away within seconds & just used a proper spanner from my tool box.

I've installed four of these around the living room space to contain my little (active) toddler.Definitely recommended.Pros: easy to install, easy to adjust, sturdy, durable (been up for almost 7 months now and no fuss), closes and locks easily.Cons: after extensive use the locks become loose and need readjustment from the edges which is easily done (had to do it on average once every 2+ months, depending on use)All in all .... good value for money and works great.

Great safety gate for my grandchildren, easy to fit , had no problems with it. Only forgot to remove it when my husband had an accident & needed an ambulance & two ambulance team arrived, my husband needed carrying out of house via a chair with a broken ankle, but one ambulance attendant backed into the gate giving a lovely bruise but not something taken into account when an emergency is in progress, but needless to say felt awful but the team was very good & understanding over it thankfully. So far grandchildren haven't been able to open this gate. Strong, taken some hammer with little ones thinking it's jail but for their own safety.

It's a gate.It keeps the dogs out. it doesn't do much else.The latching mechanism seems to be a bit out of line with mine so you can basically push it open. If you're buying this for a child/toddler it won't be too long till they figure this one out.Also it fits to exactly the size it states. No more. Not even an extra 1 or 2cm. I got caught by this. I needed it to extend about 7cm extra. I ended up using some wood.The gate is wider at the top when you first take it out the box. (Marketed as U technology) This is normal and helps to give it the compression that it needs to stay put. For that the product is really good.IT DOES NOT SQUEAK!As its marketed as a child safe gate I would give it 3 stars.If you want a cheap gate that will keep medium sized dogs down stairs or out of a room then I would give it 5 stars.I have had mine for a while now and its still up. Even after the dogs have bashed it a few times coming down the stairs.

Excellent gate for the price. I don't have children but got this to keep dogs out of the bed rooms, so it on my landing. there are little cups that you can screw to walls or where ever, but we have just extended it to the walls and it hasn't moved. Easy to fit and use. Good quality, like the fact there is a little stopper that you can push down on each side so if you don't want to shut it properly you put the stopper down and it will only open one way when pushed.

Absolutely great stair gate. This gate prevents my baby from causing herself injury. It's at the top of my stairs. It comes with clear instructions on how to put it together. You can open it with one hand and it can be pulled shut, no fuss. I think people haven't been putting it together properly. It states that the gap between both parts of the lock should not be more than 2mm which is the same width as the spanner that is included. If all the instructions are followed properly it is a fantastic gate. I will definitely be buying more of these.

article de bonne qualité et à un prix très abordable. Seul problème, le choix des rallonges : avec un rebord de l'escalier qui dépasse en bas par rapport au mur en haut, difficile de bien ajuster les fixations, j'ai dû commander une autre rallonge de taille plus petite.

Muy buen producto. Instalación superfacil e intuitiva. Se ve muy robusto y sólido. Se puede instalar haciendo agujeros o sólo a presión. Muy contenta con el producto.

Il cancelletto è molto buono e solido e utile per bloccare l'accesso alle scale da parte di nostra figlia.Si adatta perfettamente a situazioni in cui da una parte c'è il muro e dall'altra la ringhiera ed è facilissima da montare. Non c'è assolutamente bisogno di fare buchi sul muro in quanto è a pressione. Non vi spaventate se quando aprite la scatola, il cancelletto sembra torto....una volta montato e fissato al muro è perfettamente allineato.Peccato per la spedizione che, per la prima volta in tanti anni che utilizzo Amazon, è stata in ritardo per più di una settimana.

Cancelletto indispensabile per chi come me ha una bimba/bimbo piccola che non sta ferma un attimo. Il cancelletto ha una struttura leggera ma resistente. Il montaggio è semplicissimo e la chiusura è a prova di bimbo ma facilissimo da aprire anche solo con una mano per una persona adulta!
