Impressed with the quality and fit of the grip. It does secure onto the bottom of the Q3 very nicely. The benefit of having the hand grip is noticeable and I use it with the thumb grip too. Expensive for what it is but I guess the bar is set high with other similar products made by Leica themselves. Would recommend

For the money this is brilliant, much better quality than the plastic Leica one.

The grip fits the Leica Q3 well and is manufactured to a high standard. The design allows access to the battery and SD card compartments. Although the 'official' Q3 grip includes wireless charging it also blocks access to the battery and card and has to be removed when you need to change either item. It also costs about four times the JJC grip. The 'official' Leica grip for the Leica Q2 also fits the Q3 but costs over twice the JJC.

Fits Leica Q3 Perfectly, connects using tripod screw,, bottom frame gives access to battery and SD Card. Front grip provides a secure and comfortable hold on the camera. Bottom plate slide fits into a tripod head. The grip is made from good quality materials and fits the profile of the base perfectly, the grip is lightweight and does not affect the balance of the camera. Does not allow wireless charging like the Leica model, but comes at a third of the cost.

Great bit of kit. Fits the camera perfectly. Material on the inside to stop it scratching the camera. Feels great in the hand,easier to hold and great value.

Ok the quality is good and it’s easy to fit, but it dug into the palm of my hand and made my camera much more uncomfortable, difficult and actually painful to use than without the grip so it was completely useless and counterproductive for me. It may work for other people as we all have different hand sizes. The returns and refund went straight forward enough so if you want to try it give it a go.

The item fitted perfectly to my camera and seems well made; used regularly for 10 days. It does make a great difference to the holding and balance of the device - as stated, as it aids one-handed holding. You can attach a tripod to the base and also easily access the SD card and battery slots. My other concern was whether the leather simulated black mottled grip complements the original camera body and it certainly does not look odd IMO. So looks nice enough compared to the original Leica grip - which is very nice match but much more expensive. The vendor communicates fast which is very helpful too.

La qualità della lavorazione del pezzo è molto buona, nessuna imperfezione, perfettamente levigata. Senza dubbio è meglio questa di JJC dell'originale Leica "Impugnatura per la ricarica wireless HG-DC1" perché: 1) è più leggera; 2) è più pratica perché non la devi smontare ogni volta per accedere alla SD o alla batteria; 3) ha in più integrato l'attacco Arca per il treppiede; 4) ha una robusta incavatura per far passare una cinghia per il trasporto; 5) non ha (e per fortuna) quella stupidaggine della ricarica wireless che fa tanto chic ma è completamente inutile; 6) dulcis in fundo costa un quarto di quella fatta da Leica.

Even though this L bracket and base plate is much less expensive than Leica's or other options, it is very well made, high quality, works perfectly and is, to me, the obvious choice. In fact it is better than Leica's option as it allows for removal of the SD card without having to take off the base plate. I highly recommend it.
