Really pleased.
I have used mine to clean the print nozzles on my printer which had not been used for 6 yrs, worked a treat and still have lots left for future use if needed. Recommended.

As good as new
Have had my Epson WF3540 for over 6yrs in a recording studio printing thousands of pages of lyrics, sheet music and images. It has never missed a beat until recently the print quality across all colours deteriorated considerably. So, thought it was time to by a new printer until I saw Octopus Epson print head cleaner as I was browsing on Amazon. As my 3540 had been so reliable over the past years I decided to give it a go. To cut to the point, I followed the well explained instructions to clean the printer heads and without exaggeration my 3540 is printing as good as when it was first initially purchased across the whole range of documentation, media and photos. This great product (for the measly price of £15) has saved me literally hundreds of pounds. Very highly recommended.

Impressed. It worked on an Epson XP 342
I bought one of these kits to try and repair my dad's Epson XP 342 printer. The black printing had suddenly turned to nothing but smudges and I suspected an ink blockage. The kit is really quite fiddly to use and I had to take out both the black and cyan cartridges in order to get enough room to use it. I used folded kitchen towel rather than the blotting pads provided. The instructions tell you not to introduce any air into the system using the syringe, but this is really hard to do, and I failed miserably. However, my first flush of the black ink nozzle produced loads of black fluid, while the second flush ran clear so I figured something was going right. However when I ran a print test neither the black or cyan printing worked at all and I reckoned I must have introduced an air-lock somewhere. I was going to have another go, then decided to run a print-head clean first - and it worked. Everything is perfect.

It works, just don't rush the job.
Having watched the Octopus video of how to go about a nozzle clean their cleaning kit was the obvious choice as it demonstrates the after clean results. There are cheaper kits but I saw how this kit works so ordered from Octopus. Delivered next day, used it and it works, having been told by my local computer repair shop that my printer was blocked solid and I really needed to buy a replacement printer, so for just shy of £20 it's fixed.

IT WORKS AS DESCRIBED
It works perfectly. My printer was 3 years, unused. The black inkhead was blocked from dried ink. The cleaning kit dissolved the dried blockage and now my printer works again. This cleaning kit is excellent, and works very well.

Unlikely to be ideal for any inkjet printer, too large and cumbersome
I bought this because I have an Epson printer. I also bought one of the many cheaper products hoping one of them would fix my XP8700. I choose to use the smaller sized, cheaper product first. It worked, my printer, previously only printing stripey black, is now full colour again. I used 30ml of fluid. I never used the Octopus. 500ml of fluid, supplied with this product would be enough clean the heads more than 15 times. The syringe is much to large, of a size, I imagine, used to inject horses. It was difficult enough to use the cheaper, smaller, 5ml one, to control the flow whilst holding the tube over the pad on the printer. The components arrived, unsecured but undamaged, in a large box not deep enough to close over the fluid container. The instructions were unhelpful and not appropriate to my printer. If you have a problem with your printer I recommend having a go. Use a U Tube video to help.

Saved my wf7620
If you're not the person to take your time and care over something, do not try to do this yourself as you could easily damage. this is not a reflection on the product as that performs as expected. The yellow head on my printer was completely blocked, and other colours intermitent. no amount of clearing the heads and test prints shifted the block. with this tool, and a lot of patience and repeating steps to fully flush the heads, the printer is fully working again.

Buyer Be Aware!
Description states that head does not need to be removed when infact it does. Found out on youtube that there is a non return valve that prevents the fluid being pumped into the head with the syringe. I have a epson px700w. Had to remove prind head (3 screws) to release return valve. Nothing in the box instructions that says this. Also no mention in instruction to remove inks to get to the ink nipple where the syringe hose attaches. If this was in the instruction I probably would give 5 stars as the actual product is of good quality.
