Great kit for removing and refitting Apple Intel iMac screen. Allows people with know how and appropriate tools to perform repairs and upgrades to their Mac. Recommend watching a few You Tube Videos on the subject first so you know what to expect.

I was a little unsure based on some of the other reviews but I took a chance and wasn’t disappointed. I was using this to finish up a NVMe upgrade on the iMac 2019 27”. So that’s the kit I used. The kit comes with a roller and spare blades and a number of double sided stickers to fit around the frame. The fit wasn’t 100% perfect but it was 95% and it worked. The roller was useful for removing the existing adhesive. Just be sure you don’t push it in too far in areas like the camera. I suggest cleaning both areas you plan to apply this to well. I used alcohol to wipe down to a smooth squeaky finish before carefully placing one side. I then placed them into position so I was confident I knew where they needed to go. Then I used the clear tabs to help remove one side of the adhesive. Take your time doing this and if possible start with one side lined up and slowly press and peel as you move along. That way you have an anchor point to move away from. You don’t really want to start in the middle because you want to avoid any air bubbles or wrinkles. Hold the stickers taut but not too strongly, if you pull too hard they will stretch. I used the product photo for reference on where to place them. The bottom two stickers had to be placed the opposite way to the others. The stick seems strong and I have not had any problems. Take your time and prepare the surface well.

Easy to use

This is the third adhesive strip set I have ordered from this seller. Unfortunately this one has not adhered correctly leading to the screen coming away (the previous 2x applications were perfect and holding up well). Unfortunately Amazon does not give the option to connect to the seller to resolve. Will not be purchasing from this seller again.

It works very well and is a great product. Strong enough to hold the screen securely.

Do not purchase this product because the quality is quite poor. The screen was fixed using this method, but it fell down after two weeks since the glue was not adequately adhered to the iMAC frame and screen. Worst quality manufacturing.
