Great quality product. Excellent magnet and is a little larger than I imagined. Very strong and feels well-built. Not strong enough to be a retractable baton, but ... you get the idea. As a magnet, works great.I did notice it was a bit sticky extending and retracting them, so I wiped a very thin layer of oil on the shaft everywhere, extended it a couple of times, and wiped off the excess - received immediate improvement. Recommend you do the same. Also if the magnet gets covered in iron filings or other junk, you can use a piece of tape to remove it.Anyway, great product for the price, well constructed, and sturdy.Recommended.

this has the right angle for middle of the back scratching, that hard to reach spot low between the shoulder blades. And the telescoping handle makes it compact to keep handy. I have yet to utilize the magnet for anything but the expanded length and beefy construction helps me retrieve a throw that keeps falling behind the couch. This is a very handy tool and I have them in multiple places in the house.

Strong magnet. Very useful. Nice tool to have in every tool box.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great product I love the extension and I love using it for those hard to pick up screws when I build computers but there's no way in the world this would lift 16 lb! Sometimes it struggles with my 4 oz thumb screws. Even so, I would recommend it for working with small electronic devices but I cannot imagine nothing a bowling ball with this device. Having even said that, I think it's a useful tool and a good value for the money!

I use this when we drop bolts at work to pick them up from down in the engine bay. I have also had to use to get bolts and things dropped under stuff also. I recently used it to grab a tape dispenser from behind a big tech desk that we were not able to move. This picked it up no issue!

For the size of it, it’s very strong and it’s able to get into very tight area. Easy to use, has very good power, it’s very lightweight and easy to remove things. I would like to see another foot, that would make it perfect for me.

By chance at the supermarket, I bought one for my ever-itchy back. It is the perfect scratch-claw. Not too dull, not too ferocious. The extension feature has been sturdy and reliable as well, so I bought more. Am I glad I did. I have one in every room and another reason for that is—its little magnet in the palm. [Note to the world here, and to the auto-spell monster: "its" is possessive and "it's" is a contraction of "it is."] At 80 it is really hard to pick a dropped pin etc off the floor. And the helping hand is ever-useful for getting all kinds of other things off the floor as well. Of the 6 I now have, just one retracts too easily in use. I also purchased two of the just-magnet ones and they do have strong magnetism and the same good extension. I have had others with fancy handles and fancy prices that are WORTHLESS. This is the One, folks!

This tool broke in less then a month where the one I have previously from dollar store lasted 4 months.
