A Brief Prayerbook For Qara'ites: A Simple Siddur For Karaite Jews

I received this lovely little prayerbook today and I must say I am very impressed! I am exploring with my faith and learned about Karaite Judaism and I found this Karaite prayerbook. For someone who is not Jewish and not yet familiar with Jewish books or Hebrew, this prayerbook is really great to use and understand which is something I appreciate a lot. I couldn’t find any tangible Karaite Jewish prayer books until now. Hats off to the creator I would definitely say this is worth the purchase if anyone is exploring their faith and is attracted to Judaism or biblical traditions as I am. Will most likely by another copy as a gift for someone. It was also lovely to see additional links for other Karaite material too included in the prayerbook. Very thorough and clear and great to read.

Excellent prayer book for someone who is interested in karaite judaism, easy to follow and it has both English and Hebrew.

The content of the siddur itself is ok. The printing is done by Amazon and they have put the text-block upside down in the cover and switched pages. So now when you want to read it you have the front cover upside down and the text reads from front to back. They had to glue the pages on the other side of the pages, then it would have read as a normal siddur from back to front which is also stated in the description of the siddur. And as they are glued on the wrong side, there’s no way to fix it.

This 'A Brief Prayerbook for Qara'ites' is a true blessing.One question I have on the DAILY SERVICES page it has Refa-ani Adonai V'erafah Hoshi-ani V'eev-ashey' ah Ki Thilati Ata.Is that to be read or prayed before the other pages.

I am so excited this arrived! It will be most beneficial! I will say that there are a number of typos in the text. Simply thumbing through it I have seen many. But all in all, it’s great.

I am not Jewish but I agree with a lot from the Karaite Jews and I was on the search for a good prayer book. I’ve considered Orthodox Jewish prayer books but I love this one and this one will be my prayer book from now on because it only incorporates verses from the Tanach. I skip the Tzittzit prayers because as a female I don’t wear one.

It's a wonderfully made book by a very learned individual. I feel grateful that there is a dedicated organization out there making siddurim for the Karaite Community worldwide. Easy to use and straightforward, I encourage all Jews worldwide (Karaite, Rabbinate, and everything in between) to check it out. Thank you Karaite Compendium.
