Great stand, easy to use and very sturdy and works well and u can use it for a lot of different things

Fundraisers, conferences, lectures, outdoor activities, etc.! Sturdy, adjustable, quality materials. Able to trust these stands to hold electronics w| out collapsing!

We purchased the CAHAYA Projector Stand Tripod Adjustable to hold our projector. This is a very sturdy tripod/stand with plenty of room for our projector and space for the phone that we attach to the projector for streaming. We don't extend the stand to its highest height to watch project onto the screen - so it is plenty tall for our needs. Since we don't use projector often enough it will probably double as a music stand. As I mentioned, this is a solid stand and it shouldn't be considered "portable". It will shrink down to a little under two feet but the tray (where one lays the projector) does not shrink - thus you have this 16x11inch connection to the tripod that is screwed on. Either keep it all extended and placed somewhere or fold it all down and try to find room where it won't fall - certainly don't let it fall on anything breakable since the tray is heavy. When the stand is opened it is very sturdy and even with a small bump it doesn't budge. This perfectly works for what we wanted - a projector stand/music stand - however I took one star off because "portable" means able to be carried and not take up much room. With the tray being screwed onto the tripod this means it doesn't provide much portability or hiding it away when not in use. It has a nice weight, but it can be "portable" in that it can be carried easily from room-to-room. We look forward to using this for years to come based on how it feels and its build.

Easy to assemble.... works for a projector, laptop, etc. I bought mine to set a 15" laptop on...very adjustable!

This works great for holding my projector for our homeschooling. Nice and sturdy. Can also be used for laptops, ipads etc. And it's adjustable.
