This AMERLIFE king size solid wood bed frame is absolutely beautiful and very well made. It feels sturdy and supportive with no creaking or movement, even with daily use. The solid wood gives it a high-end, durable feel, and the design looks great in the bedroom. Assembly was straightforward with clear instructions. Overall, it’s a great quality bed frame that looks stylish and feels built to last.

This bed looks great in my room! It’s a nice color and the linen on the headboard is nice too. It has a good quality look to it, not like cheap looking sets do. The height is nice since we are on the shorter side anyway. It’s a very sturdy and quiet bed. We didn’t have any quality issues with ours it came perfect!

Beautiful, sturdy, well-designed bed. Would we buy it again? Absolutely, but we would allow time for defective parts to be replaced. We allowed an entire afternoon for disassembling our old bed and putting together this new one. The bed was professionally packed; even the styrofoam spacer blocks were encased in slip-on sleeves so they wouldn't scratch or crumble. All parts were clearly marked. Instructions were easy to follow. No problems...until we got to Step 1, joining the bed frame to the headboard. All four holes were drilled wrong! Two were too far to the left and two were too far to the right. There we were, mid-afternoon and stuck. We spent some time on the phone with Amazon but never got any help other than, "We will contact the seller and they will get back to you in 48 to 72 hours." (Little did we know they would respond later the same day!) We were panicky. These senior citizens needed a place to sleep TONIGHT and couldn't see how it would happen. We were afraid to "MacGyver" something because we figured it would prevent us from returning the bed if our attempt failed. Finally, in desperation, my husband decided to try and re-drill all the holes anyway. Somehow it worked out in the end and we were able to finish the bed with no further problems. Everything else was drilled properly and fit together like a glove. However, there were two pieces that had gouges in visible areas--on top of one bedpost and a small one on the top of the headboard. These pieces were in protective sleeves and obviously were damaged before being packed. Both were able to be touched up enough to get by but I will always know they are there. In spite of these frustrations, we are very happy with our purchase and will be even happier when that new-furniture smell dissipates. The only thing I don't like about the design of the bed is that the side panels are each in two pieces so there is a visible seam. It would have been nice if the seller included two short strips of wood that we could attach with glue or double-sided tape to make it look like a design detail. It's not something that jumps out at you and doesn't affect the stability at all, but it would have been a nice touch. In fact, the bed is so sturdy that we no longer are awakened when the other person turns over in bed. Please note that the headboard fabric is not white as it appears in the photos we saw. It is more of a subtle beige. The tufting is beautifully done, and we are happy with our purchase. I wish I could have given it 5 stars but the gouges, the defective drilling, and Amazon's inability to help us made for a stressful day. But I still would buy it again.

The bed is nice and goes well with the room tone. I was using it for my guest room and was OK. However, the bed base is abysmal and wasn’t designed to sustain at all. It’s made of super low quality wood planks and broke after couple months of regular use.

I absolutely love this bed, it is everything I had hoped it would be. I am glad I took a chance and ordered despite a few negative reviews on quality. It is as beautiful as the ad picture shows, and very easy to assemble. I put it together myself as I wanted to surprise my fiancee. That being said, the footboard has very minor scuffing on one of the edges but not even visable. The only other thing is that because i just put the mattress ontop of the slats, there is not much room to tuck in the sheets (between the mattress and the side of the frame). I might order a base for the mattress to raise it a few inches, sometime in the future, which would eliminate that minor inconvience. All in all, for the money spent this was a wonderful purchase. The bed is very stable, no squeeks, etc.

This bed is about two shades lighter than the stock photo. It is very light for walnut. The fabric on the headboard is closer to tan than cream or ivory. The bed was fairly easy to assemble in about two hours. The supplied tools suck, and the clearances to turn the wrenches is limited. Once fully assembled it is very sturdy with the exception of the panel below the upholstered headboard. Some of the threaded inserts in the wood components started to spin when tightened. Care must be taken when installing and tightening the machine screws. Even though is described as solid wood, it would be better described as glued-up finger-jointed rubberwood. Big boards made from small pieces. Close observation shows the finger joints. Besides the color, the finished product looks fair. I think the product is a little pricy for the quality. The outside of the box was damaged, but the well wrapped items were not damaged.

This put together very easily but definitely takes 2 people so someone can hold it up while the other works. Reviews made it seem like it was hard to put together and it wasn’t if you just read the instructions thoroughly. Bed has been assembled for 3 months, it’s very sturdy and does not squeak. It’s beautiful as well and I was honestly surprised at the quality for this price.

This is the most beautiful bed I have ever owned. I have had so many different types and this one is my favorite. The wood is beautiful and solid nice sturdy. The headboard is very well made. I thought it would be taller but I am short so no big deal. Everyone who seen it says how beautiful it is. Love it so so much!
